I have gastroparesis and need protein snacks without whole or chunky nuts. This fits the bill: easily digestible, smooth texture, not overly sweet, 12 grams of protein and limited ingredients. Doesn’t spike my blood sugar and holds me over till dinner. Personally I love the PB&J and Doughnut flavors the best. PB&J has no jelly flavor, however, it has a slight peanut flavor and is lightly sweetened. The doughnut flavor is slightly nutty but does not even resemble the flavor of doughnuts! That said, this flavor is pleasingly nutty and lightly sweetened. Both have the same white “glaze” over the entire bar instead of chocolate, a welcome change. If I am sounding redundant, well, both bars are very similar in a great way! I tried the Fudgier Peanut Butter Tru-Bar and I found it a bit dry with a different nutty taste (not pleasant to me) than the PB&J bar. The chocolate coating was bland. If you’re looking for a bar with a real chocolate coating, this is not the bar for you, LOL!I find Tru-Bar a good value as they cost less per bar than other brands and are so convent to put in a jacket pocket, purse or backpack. Highly recommend!

These are amazing and very tasty. I have Celiac Disease so everything has to be gluten-free. I love the taste and texture of Trubar products. Many products are made with dates, which are wonderful and taste great, but so often the texture is sticky and hard to eat. Trubar has protein bars figured out. They only use simple, organic ingredients and this flavor is both sweet and tart and is reminiscent of delicious key lime pie. I eat a protein bar for breakfast almost every day (I'm always running late and rushing out the door) and these have 12 g of protein, 13 g of dietary fiber, and 190 calories.

Let’s be real: never, ever will a protein bar be mistaken for a donut. However, TruBar’s Daydreaming About Donuts is an easy way to get a quick 12g of vegan protein for under 200 kcals. This is the only TruBar flavor I’ve tried, but I like the glaze on the outside, which largely distracts from the taste of pea protein powder. The bars are soft without being chewy and are easy to digest. IMO, they satisfy nighttime cravings for something sweet and help you meet your daily protein goals.

I recently cut out seed oils from my diet, I love seeing that these bars have no seeds oils. I tried the cookie dough flavor at first and could not believe how good it was! The donut flavor is a bit chalky and bland but still easy to eat nonetheless. They are pretty filling for a quick snack, I would for sure give these a try if you haven't already!

They are a little pricey but worth it. I ordered the Key Lime and Donuts flavors. The Donuts flavor is my favorite- it reminds me of glazed Krispy Kreme donuts but less sweet and more filling. The Key Lime flavor tastes like what I’d imagine a slice of key lime pie would taste like if you put the crust in the blender with only a little of the filling. The lime taste is definitely there but you can also taste the grainy taste and nutty flavor of the almonds.Overall, they are my favorite protein bars that seem more like a treat rather than a chore to eat.

The product is amazing - tasty and healthy vegan snack. However, this company has sent me the wrong flavor on *three* separate occasions now, so I don't trust them enough to reorder anymore. The "mistake" flavor was always the mint one, so I'm wondering if they just select that as a default or want to give those away because they don't sell as much? At least Amazon was good about the refund process. Shame; I would've continued buying them.

These are good. They have good protein and are tasty.
