Great Controller, White color can get a little dirty
I have always been a fan of 8-Bitdo and their controllers. This one is one of the best ones that I have used as of late. It works wonderfully with the Nintendo Switch, with only a few issues connecting in the years that I have had it. I like the fact that it has a charging base that also houses the dongle for connecting on more devices. The holding start and shaking to wake the switch is a lovely feature. My only complaint is with the grippy texture on the back of the controller, the white one. Is that it can get a little dirty and is harder to clean with that texture. Otherwise no drift, connects wonderfully, and has always been reliable.

Best Controller For Nintendo Switch Period
Just bought a new OLED Switch mainly for playing on the TV (my son already owned a Switch Lite) and all I can say is WOW! Been gaming for decades and I have to say, this has got to be the absolute best controller I have ever bought so far. You can tell the first time you touch it it's amazing and super high quality. Had no problem connecting to my Switch, I did enable the pro controller wired communication in the Switch settings first as a commenter suggested, don't know if that made a difference or not. It connected no problem first time. I've only played with it one night and so far no connection issues. The charging base and built in batteries mean no fiddling with changing power cells, just pick up the controller and play, put it back on the charger when done. Seemed a bit pricey at first but this really is a case (and it pains me to say it) of "You get what you pay for" which isn't always true. If you own a Switch and are looking for a good wireless game pad I would say this IS the controller. Folks say it's better then the Licensed Pro Controller which I haven't handled, but I can't see anything being better than this 8Bitdo at least in the case of the Switch. Best part, it is both Bluetooth AND 2.4Ghz Wireless (coming with a dongle for 2.4Ghz) via a switch on the backside of the controller making is great for PC as well. Motion controls feel the same as those on the Joycons. Got the white one to match my Switch, my setup looks amazing with the Switch in the cradle and the controller next to it on the charging stand. This was a great purchase.

Top notch!
Really great controller. Feels good in the hands, nice weight, very responsive, no input lag. I plugged the dock into my PC and it just works. No drivers to install, no configuration necessary, just plug and play. The 8bitdo software is super slick and remapping buttons or creating controller profiles is easy as pie. Very happy with my purchase.

One of the best controllers
Simply one of the best controllers I've held in a while, The hall effect joysticks it comes with makes precision aiming far better than most controllers on the market. It has a nice battery life that lets me play easily all day. It comes with a charger stand that makes my stand look sleek, tri mode connectivity that makes me pair it via BT, Dongle or wire, the options are all there for which ever you would like to use, BT does have some latency issue though so keep that in mind. Comfort grip is similar to almost xbox style but not exactly, it isn't for bigger handed folks though. Overall recommend this for mid/small size hands and for folks who want that precision and wireless capabilities!

Great Quality and Great Price. Issues when used for Smash irl tournies.
Amazing build. Amazing grips on the sticks and the handles. I bought it and used it for PC on Multiversus and doubled as my Smash Ultimate controller for tournaments.Things to take note of.- Smaller form factor than Nintendo's Pro Controller.Something I had to get used to. I used the Pro Controller for Smash and Xbox for Multiversus. Both are about the same size just a different form factor. It took a bit to get used to but it felt good after a bit, as my hands are small. Could be an issue if you have bigger hands.- Analog triggersGood/Bad how you see it. I was used to digital triggers for Smash but felt good with other games that used it. Good thing is that you can shorten the press completely to minimize the analog press for instant shielding. It still does not change or lock the triggers. You will still feel the analog springs.- ButtonsButtons feel a lot better than a pro controller. They are slightly more tactile and a good bit smaller as well. I personally enjoy the feel.- (TOURNAMENT ISSUE) Connectivity via 2.4hz DongleI really wanted this to work the way I thought it would to avoid the common Pro Con woes of connecting and forgetting to disconnect after your set then someone getting pissed because your controller is connected and you're in the bathroom or something.I was hoping I can plug in the dongle, play, and take it out and go to the next set up and do the same. The issue I noticed is that whenever I connected the dongle to the Switch, it would not connect to the next Switch at all unless I completely disconnected it from the Switch I originally connected it to (which defeats a big selling point to me). Only upside is you won't accidentally turn on your controller and mess up someone elses tournament set.Not sure if this was a singular issue or something that is known, but this alone made me lower this 1 star.- ConclusionThis controller is amazing. If you're looking for a Switch controller that works flawlessly between PC and Switch but the switch of a back button, get this. I prefer it more than the Pro Controller. The only thing it does not have is NFC reader and HD Rumble. I personally don't need that so I suggest this over the Pro Controller. Some issues shouldn't deter you as it's just an issue with connecting/disconnecting for Smash Tournaments, but even then it works well, no latency or connection issues.
