The key to training is repetition and reward for success. Obviously each dog is different, but every treat I tried before this, my dog would actually get tired of over time... or they were just too big to get any real reps in without feeling like I am giving my dog diabetes. I have been using these treats for nearly a year and a half now and my dog has not gotten tired of them yet. For training, they are tasty and small enough that you don't feel bad running the same tricks over and over and rewarding proper responses over and over. These are also good to hide around the room when you leave to help with separation anxiety. And now that my dog is trained, it's just a nice tasty reward for all the tricks she already knows..The 5 stars for ingredient quality, flavor and scent were what my dog told me to put btw. I have not tried the treats myself.

UPDATE:So far I have ordered these 21 times. My dog is still stalking me. A friend's dog came to stay with us for a week and I taught him GO FIND as well. Now he stalks his paw parent. This is a dog that slept the whole day, didn't have any pep in his step, is overweight, and was depressed. However, one week with us, and boom he's like a new pup. The light in his eyes and the wag in his tail is back. I don't know what you guys are doing but keep it up. Hopefully, I find the human version of this dog treat so I can reclaim my youth at 32. LOL.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I am being stalked. I taught him "Go find", which means I throw or put some treat somewhere and he's to use his nose until he finds it. Now he sniffs everywhere all the time, thinks the minute I get up we'll play GO FIND and when he's in the bed with me he will sit and stare at me for 30 mins straight and watch every movement of my hands, my face and also look intermittently at the direction of the bag. I go to the bathroom, he waits outside the door. I leave my room and he pushes his way back in so that I can't lock him out. My days of peace are limited- only when using the bathroom and occasionally going on the road, BUT I am so happy that at age 9 he's got more pep in his step and a sweet smile on his face. His depression is gone and his boredom is at bay. His puppyness is back! I LOVE IT! Thank you FULL MOON for making an amazingly, healthy and delicious treat for my paw baby.Oh and he's also learning a few more commands which he will put in work doing correctly but the minute there is no treat in my hand that he can smell or see, is the minute his 'aloof' persona comes in to play where it's like all that training goes out the door. One more thing my Mom says it's delicious. She tasted a bit and then spit it out but she said she understood why he loved them so much. I haven't tasted them yet but they smell amazing. 3rd bag came just a few days ago. I do wish they made them in larger quantities but aye, I won't complain.Again thank you!

Got these for my mom's new puppy and he loves them. We are using them for training and they are working great. the size is perfect to keep a few in your pocket for on the go training and they have not upset his stomach. I love that they are natural and more importantly, organic! They smell fresh and are easy to break apart with a fingernail if you need even smaller pieces.

My puppy absolutely LOVES these and follows me everywhere I go and eagerly does anything to get a reward with one of these in my hand. I love the ingredients and it makes me feel good he’s eating something made with whole ingredients. Nothing overly processed and without fillers. I love the crude protein and crude fat percentage in these treats too, so important for growing puppies!

Our Corgi loves this brand of training treat and we found he learns/obeys quickly knowing he's going to get one of these. They are small, so you don't use up a lot. One bag lasted us about 45 days of training.

So, my pup is a bit of a treat snob, just like me. I want to give her something healthy, and she just wants something tasty. These chicken treats from Full Moon seem to be a good compromise. They're made with human-grade ingredients and are low-calorie.When I opened the bag, I was surprised by how good they smell. They're like soft jerky sticks.The texture is chewy and dense, with a thin casing. I had to break them into smaller pieces for my pup since she's a small breed. A whole one would be too much for her to chew safely at her age right now.The bag says they're three calories each, but that must be an estimate since the pieces are different sizes.I think for a larger breed pup who could handle a whole treat, it would be a great reward.
