Touch of Nature 38193 Guinea Fowl Wing Quill, 7-Inch

Perfect for what I need them for. They come packaged together in a flat plastic pack, so there’s is some crushing of the edges. The quality is definitely variable between individual feathers, but overall they look good and are in nice condition. I’m using them to repair my cat’s feather wand toy, because he’s very aggressive with them and rips out all the feathers, so then I’m just left with a bunch of sticks. There’s enough in here to repair it several times, and the feathers are nice and sturdy so hopefully they’ll last a while. I bought the package when it was less than $4, so it’s a much better deal than replacing the wands.

I bought these for my cat 3 years ago and they have been a big hit! He loves to carry them around and bring them to me. They've held up well considering the way we've been using them. We still have a couple left.

It's true that the quality isn't quite as advertised. out of 10, only one was great quality, few of them the feathers were pretty beat up but at least none of them were in pieces. I bought these to replaced the feathers of my cat's toy and surprisingly the repair worked. So at least for that type of projects the quality is "good" enough but I can imagine if you wanted to use these for craft projects then you might be disappointed. Shared a photo so you can see for yourself a sample of the quality.

They are beautiful and they were perfect for a couple of decorating ideas I had for fall. I added them to my hydrangea centerpiece, added them to a mini pumpkin gold grapevine wreath, and they are also beautiful simply added to a white creamer pitcher. I also made a feather tablescape and added them as embellishment with some berries and wrapped them onto burlap fabric to dress up a plain cotton napkin for the tablescape. Adding natural elements is always the finishing touch on tablescapes, floral and wreaths.

Not as shown in the picture. Smaller than expected and pretty boring, i.e., not colorful. Would not buy again.

In truth I would give this product zero stars. The package states "10"; it contained "9". In the photo I see fully fledged feathers. In the package there were zero fully fledged feathers. I needed at least 3 out of 10; I got zero. When I say fully fledged I mean the feather fibers are open and full on both sides of the quill. These feathers were full & open on 1 side; the fibers on the other side were pressed against the quill. They could not be fledged out without the fibers separating. Also the tips of the feathers were ruined because they caught up in the package sealing process.

Perfect size for my crafts. Very pretty and bright dots.

They arrived in great shape & looked awesome on my costume!!
