Corded lamp dimmers
These work beautifully. Very simple to use and have a nice appearance. I totally recommend!

Works perfectly, long cord too.
We have some decorative white lights (“Christmas” lights) strung up in the house and we love the color of the lights. Not a bright clinical white, but rather warm if that makes sense. Problem is (was) that at night the lights were crazy bright. Like we’d be hanging out and we’d be like, “Okay, should we just unplug the lights?” That’s not very festive. Enter this relatively inexpensive dimmer. Wham. Easy to modulate (the slider switch on the dimmer is easy to operate) and the lights dim accordingly. But what’s cool is that the lights can get very, very dim (and then continue to slide until they are extinguished). And then of course go full blast. So the RANGE of this thing is superb. Plus it comes with with a six-foot cord that runs from where the dimmer slider plugs in to the dimmer switch itself so I don’t have to go across the room and fiddle around behind the chair where the electrical outlet is to do the dimming. The dimmer switch sits out six feet where you can get at it, eliminating the need for any physical exertion whatsoever. If I wanted exertion, I’d go out and run around the block like mad and I don’t really see that happening.

My mistake in install
With a three way light, the dimmer doesn’t “read” the first level (lowest light). I installed a non-3 way bulb. The lamp had to be on second or third click for dimmer to work. No noise. Got a dimmable 60 watt led and works great

Works pretty well
Works with LED bulbs but the bulb may flicker on lowest settings. I was able to set it to the low level I wanted but did observe some flicker if I went any lower. Varies from bulb to bulb. I am happy with it and I am keeping it.

Glad to have bought this product
This slide-type dimmer works with LED and incandescent bulbs. Our ‘old’ dimmer would not work with LED bulbs, even though the bulbs are dimmable. Glad to have bought this,..priced fairly, appears and feels right based on years of experience.

Works great for nursery
We bought this for the nursery to be able to dim the lamp for nighttime feedings and it works perfectly for that. It is great to be able to just pull the dimmer switch from the outlet to the chair even if the lamp is the other direction

Works perfectly with LED bulbs.
Adjusts perfectly with LED bulbs at all settings. It very occasionally does a short single flicker with LED - only at the lowest dim setting. No big deal.

Doesn't do well on really dim setting
If I try to really dim the lamp, it will frequently brighten a little and then dim back down. The brightness level is not consistent. I ordered a replacement thinking it was defective, but the replacement did the same thing. I kept it because I only use it on my bedside lamp occasionally.

Works well if you use the correct bulbs.
Both dimmers work as they should, as long as the lights you want to control are smooth dimming/dimable and under 360w total electrical load. I wanted to use these controllers with dimable LED filament bulbs, but I was not happy with the smoothness of the fading/flickering (partly due to the LED bulbs I wanted to use). I eventually decided to use a single 40w incandescent bulb with each dimmer. The dimming up and down is now very smooth without any hum noise from the slide control box or bulb. I really didn't want to use incandescent bulbs with the dimmers, because our family has been trying over the past few years to limit our electricity usage for various things in out home, and using LED Filament/COB bulbs have helped greatly in that regard, but considering that these dimmers are being used sparingly in a bedroom setting, and most of the time it's only used to give off a gentle light (amber'ish colour, which is easier on the eyes at night) while watching TV, or when reading a book in bed... the amount of electricity the 40w incandescent bulb actually uses while dimmed down almost all the way, is rather minuscule, and the bulb barely gives off any heat at that light output level. If I eventually find an LED Filament/COB bulb that has very smooth dimming capabilities (that doesn't cost a lot of $'s), I might switch out the incandescent bulbs for that. Until then, I'm happy with how it's working right now.Btw, the plug end of the dimmer that connects to the wall outlet (that you use to plug your light's plug connector into), only has two prongs, which means you can't (or at least you're not supposed to) use a grounded appliance/fixture with a 3 prong connection plug.

I have several of these in my home. All are attached to two matching lamps.
I can therefore switch on both lamps simultaneously and set the brightness or dimness level depending on the mood!
