Designer Mat Intro-Guard Car Cover with Z06 Emblem for 1997-2004 Corvette Models (Z06 Logo)

.....seems to be the one I was looking for. I will follow up with more info if anyone is interested AFTER I give it a "road test. I have a much more costly INDOOR-only car cover for my C5 and was looking for a much lighter weight, more compact cover to take in the car when I travel away from home. I did a lot of on-line and catalog research. That effort helped but there was never enough specifics to conclude that any one seemed the obvious right choice. So it was time to take a stab by ordering one that sounded like the right one. I have it in hand now (it came very quickly), the quality looks and feels good given the type of material. The size, weight and seeming ability suggests it ought to be an effective protective cover. It looks very "metallic" on the outside, the inside against the car feels fine and while not "fuzzy" soft, is smooth and more than soft enough. It is extremely light weight, easy to put on and take off after a couple test applications. Most important, it "folds" up to a very compact package less than the advertised "12 Pack of Coke" size. In fact the supplied bag would hold two of them! AND...AND....it fits easily, with a lot of room to spare for other stuff into the largest, middle under-floor compartment in my 2002 removable roof Coupe. I will be going on a road trip soon and will report back on its effectiveness as a car cover. BTW, this $109.95 price (no tax and free shipping) here from Amazon through West Coast Corvette is $20.00 less than the retailer's own catalog/on-line price. This one comes with the cleverly designed auxiliary front and rear underbody "high wind" tie-down straps but not with a cable and lock. You can get that for $10.00 from any car cover source. Please note this is NOT the "Coverking Silverguard" cover which usually sells for $169.00, but it sure seems like it and it is $60 cheaper. West Coast Corvette's catalog calls this one the "Embroidered Car Cover - Intro-Guard " with Emblem, Item # 17177700.ADDENDUM: As promised, follow-up info on this cover as of August 18, 2014. Great product, works fine, has held up perfectly in wet and windy weather, even without the unique hold down straps which I have not had occasion to use. I did buy a lock cable however for security of the cover. The cover had proved very "paint friendly" the underside of the cover actually being very soft despite the metallic look of it. No problems there. I can be folded/rolled up to a very small size, stuffed into the provided bag and stored in the center storage bin in my coupe and still leaving room for other stuff in there. If you find a better deal on a more serviceable outdoor cover let me know! Not from personal experience, but other reviews obviously indicate that this cover will fit many C5 models. It fits my 2002 perfectly.

I called and spoke to a parts guy with West Coast Corvette before ordering this cover, ( I do not remember his name sorry) and asked if this would fit a 1993 ZR1. He was very helpful, told me the cover would be large and wide enough. We received the cover the very next day, and my husband was very pleased. We will be using this cover while the ZR1 is in our garage. Although it is not the exact material we are replacing it is light weight with a fitted bottom. My husband said it was hard to put on by himself because of the fitted bottom but the side mirrors and the front of the cover lined up very well. It looks close to a custom fit. Our old cover lasted for about 15 years, so it is a hard cover to replace. We will see how well this does. It actually is silver in color not white like the picture of it looks. Handy storage bag came with it. We also received a free catalog with our purchase.

This is a nice, lightweight cover, looks great too. It does protect against bird droppings and tree waste, but it does not (and does not advertise to) keeping dust and moisture off of the vehicle under the cover. Windblown dust will get on the vehicle, as does moisture. Cleaning is accomplished by just hosing the cover with water spray - I have not needed to take it to the local laundromat with the heavy duty machine (and th 1/4 cup Simple Green or 409 stuff that other covers require).

Fits perfectly! Thought it seemed thin but after putting it on our car we are very happy with it. Our car is only covered in the garage so no experience with wind or rain. My husband was very happy with the Z06 emblem on the front.

My first car cover. It's really light and easy to put on and take off. Lately I've been noticing other car covers around town. I can see that this is not a custom fit for my car. Kind of baggy but, oh well, the price was nice.

Identical to the one I ordered 14 years ago. My old one worked great in the garage and was used for a year or so for outside storage due to space issues before it started to sun rot. Now, my Z06 is back in the garage and I couldn't be happier with this one.

I've had this item for several weeks now and I am becoming more impressed with it. I was concerned that it's light-weight might be its doom. It is holding up very well.

I have owned this cover for about a month. I use it everyday. The company is in southern CA, and I live in Northern, CA. It arrived within a few days of ordering. The cover works great to protect against dirt and sub. Keeps the car fairly cool. It fits perfect. I have found putting the cover over the mirrors first and then covering the rest of the car works best. It's a very custom fit and the front corvette emblem is a nice touch. This cover isn't waterproof but it's not designed for that purpose. So, you will need a different cover if your looking to keep the car protected for all types if weather. I bought it for sun protection and debris protection. I also purchased the dashboard cover (black with emblem) from this company. Very pleased with that too. I recommend this company from what I have observed so far.

Using it as a dust cover in the garage, looks good, it is a nice metallic silver color with the vette logo on the hood.
