HAZARD 4 MOLLE-Pal: Mounting Joints for Mil-Spec Webbing Systems

I like these little straps! I hope they consider making them in gray in the future to match gray backpacks.

These mountings joints are great as long as you are aware of their limitations.They are more adapted for small to medium pouches on a flat surface that is not subject to torsion.I used these for a admin pouch on my backpack belt which had PALS/MOLLE webbing.With the pouch being quite heavy and the belt being often bent, the joints did not hold.I think these joints are OK for hiking/camping/strolling situations but I do not think that they can be relied upon in a tactical situation to bear the load.That's fine with me but you have to be aware of this.

There are many options when it comes to attaching extra gear and not all are convenient. I would have to say though this product far exceeded my expectations. It's a real simple design that works great. I throw my pack around a lot and I definitely needed something simple and secure and this by far passed the test. Extremely easy to attach to your pack and extremely secure. Not only do you have a snap button but it also has Velcro. These suckers aren't going anywhere. I'm so glad I discovered this product.

These work OK but the Velcro and snap that they added will not allow you to add anything with any weight to it. I have tried a couple of different configurations with these and no matter what I do they will not support a load over a pound or so. Also in the description it would be very helpful if they would give you better dimensions of the straps. I have them on my bag at the moment but nothing is attached to them as I am no confident that they will hold.

Sorry, Civilian Labs...you missed the mark on these Molle-Pal snap mounting joints. They are inadequate for even very light duty attachments, popping open with very light tension from almost any direction. I have other products with one-way snaps that stay solidly fastened unless pulled in a very specific direction with solid pressure so I know one-way snaps can work. They don't work in this instance. I wanted a way to quickly attach a small pouch to a Molle pack and be able to remove it with similar speed. Unfortunately, these mounting joints release far too easily and from nearly any direction; I can't trust them to secure my pouch. I recommend staying away from this product!

I don't normally write reviews but lately i'm trying to get into the habit of it, if only to help other buyers out. OK so the idea of this product is great, however the quality is horrible! the snap button will come undone almost effortlessly and the Velcro is a joke, ive honestly seen better on a 4 year olds shoe.with both working together holding a canteen 3/4 full of water on a 2 mile walk it was already coming undone.Hazard 4 has always been a little over priced but this was complete junk.

Great for losing your MOLLE attachments. The button is meant to be the 'main' fastening component, but it's arguably weaker than the velcro being used to hold it in place.It not just about holding weight either. If you apply any torsional load (Like brushing against a branch or pulling a zipper, even) the velcro actually starts coming apart. There's not enough surface area for it to hold.Great concept, but the execution is terrible. You're better off fastening your pouches with zip ties.

These do a decent job. The material is a little thin, and rather than being one piece that is folded at the one side, it is two pieces stitched together, I worry about that stitching failing, but so far it's held up well. The dual closure of a clasp and velcro is good, I fell more confident in it not falling off. So long story short, these are decent quality and an easy way to attach non-molle stuff to a molle grid, but I wouldn't trust it for real heavy use. I've used it to attach solar panel and battery pack thing to my back pack and it's held up fairly well, but I doubt it would be good for any kind of tactical vest setup for paintball or the like. All in all I would buy them again, they do the job I needed them for.

Clips precisely as expected. The clasps a bit fiddly to connect after threading through the loops on my pack, hence the four rather than five stars, but all in all they are doing the job with no failures so far. Would buy again.

Great mile connector for the money... I found these much easier to use than molle sticks especially when your pouch is full and I feel these are more secure than tacties because of the dual snap/Velcro closures. Plus there are four so you’ve got an element of redundancy. Previous reviewer was concerned that these are “two piece stitched together” however that’s inaccurate as they’re one piece folded over with a reinforcement stitch. Great price and am happy to have my admin pouch secured to the outside of my bag!

Used with other Hazard brand items, these work but are a bit clunky

Hazard 4 products are generally excellent, however I rate these mounting joints as merely adequate. They have their uses, and I am using them without significant problem. The are short, with have their length comprised of velcro and snap. I'm currently using two of them to attach a small multitool to the side pouch of a Kato mini-messenger.
