The media could not be loaded.  Ranababy (Family Robot) is a medium-sized robot with big wheels that grip well. She can go over hardwood floors and transition onto low-pile rugs (I do not have carpet) easily. She has good speed: not too fast, not too slow. Using the app available for iOS (haven't tried the Android version), she is easily controlled, though using the full-screen, landscape mode is much easier -- and the video is better -- rather than the portrait mode. It's easy to take pictures and videos, and they are easily saved to your phone or shared on some random (I guess Chinese?) websites. She has a flashlight mode which provides some light. I tested mine during the daytime when there was a lot of light, which is why the pictures and video turned out so well. At night, they're more grainy; the flashlight mode helped a little. She can tilt up and down for higher and lower views. While stationary, she can turn left and right. The audio communication is good: I can get my cats' attention. Self-parking on the charger is easy. Set-up on my phone and home network was easy. Connecting to the robot and the video feed were good while I was on my home network. While at a remote location, it was equally good; I was connected via cell data, not wifi for that test. Overall I am very satisfied. My goal was to have a moving camera at home so I can check up on my cats every once in a while. It will also give them some interruption to their days when I check in on them. Plus, if I get a notification from my home security service, it's easy to get on this and see what's going on. My only desire is that there was a Windows phone app.

This camera was exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price. The camera is difficult to control at first, it tends to lag at times depending on the internet connection. The movements with the controller are not precise and tends to move in large swings on turns and takes getting use to. The images are rather good and although it does not come with infrared night vision, it has LED lights that allow visibility at night. The semi-automatic docking for recharging is really good. The camera records directly to the device that you use to control it so it does not require additional memory cards. Send/receive sound functions and cute robot sounds are included. If left off the docking station for prolonged periods, it will deplete the battery and become dormant and not function until you manually place it in the docking station to recharge. It is important to make it recharge itself while there is power left (there is a power indicator), I would recommend after each use.

I was very excited about this product but I've spent over 3 hours now trying every possible way to get it to connect to the network but it just doesn't work. I can accomplish the first step of the connection but not the second. There is no customer service number, no email and no website so get help if you can...I've contacted the seller so I'll post an update once I get an answer from the seller. So far just a lot of frustration with this product.

Great robot! Worked well on both my carpets.You need a strong connection to use it, without a strong connection the following issues have happened:It has lost signal while out, but after returning home and turning it off then back on it worked fine again. When speaking sometimes the sound goes out and won’t return until you close and reopen the app. I really enjoy using this little bot. Great for the price.

If this robot were to reliably connect to the wifi network, I'd say that it was a good value. But it doesn't. The two or three times that I actually got it to connect, it was ok -- not great, but kind of what you would expect for under $100. If you have $100 to burn, you can give it a try. But don't have high -- or even reasonable -- expectations. After countless attempts at trying to get it to connect and work, I've given up and shelved it. Eventually it'll go to the electronic waste recycling center.

This is exactly what I was looking for! A nanny cam for my pets during the day. Quick and easy to connect to from the cloud. Easy to maneuver and decent audio/video quality. There were no instructions of any sort in the box. It takes some basic technical skills to setup the first time. I am very satisfied with the product for this price!

Obviously it's an abandoned product.. It's last app update was in 2017.. It use to be reliable now it's useless.. I was once able to use it threw 4G from FL to WI just a year ago now its connection drops constantly?!! Buy if your SLY!

I bought this to keep up with my cat and to entertain. Works well.
