This is the real deal, why spend $40-$50 on name brand, this does the job!
I was skeptical because of the price, but this hole saw is the real deal. Cuts thru 10mm porcelain easily. Take your time and dip the saw in water every 20 seconds. Took about 1 minute to cut the hole. Made several cuts, the blade looks like new. I bought 2 (Still less than half the cost of the name brand offerings) , in case the saw wore out, but I don't believe ill be needing the 2nd. One suggestion, make a sample cut on a scrap, then clamp it to your target tile, and use the sample as a guide/template, prevents saw from skipping and scratching your target tile.

Does what it should great price
Overall very satisfied with the tile hole saw both for the price and quality so far 3 holes in very thick porcelain tile with ease with easeAt less then $15 it's a great deal for the size compared to home Depot or Lowe's starting at $70 definitely great for a small diy project where you will use it once and then it goes into the tool box for another 10 yearsThere are a lot of crap quality tile bits out there but this is not one of them I definitely recommend this tile hole saw bit..I just needed this to make a hole in the bathroom shower tile for the faucet fixture it worked well and cheap enough to donate it to the goodwill so my toolbox doesn't have another paper weight for like 10 years

Sceptical... but worked perfect! Saved us a ton of money.
After 10 years, the shower cartridge in our second bathroom needed to be replaced. We thought it would be an easy DIY project but kept running into problems at each step. We even had to pay a plumber just to come help us get the threaded sleeve out because it was not budging AT ALL. Then, he informs us he can't finish the job either because the knucklehead who installed the shower tiled OVER the screws to get the cartridge out! He said his tile guy could charge upwards of $300.00 to cut the tile. What?! Then, we called a very reliable handyman and he told us FOR SURE the tile is going to crack and before he comes out we needed to go find extra tile to be able to replace them. I told him BYE and came to Amazon looking for a solution. I looked at 3 different 4" bits and I chose this one because it was so cheap in price and knew we would probably only use it for this project. I was very sceptical and fully expected to fail but to our great surprise it worked awesome! We did a practice on a old piece of tile outside and the bit skipped ALL over the place. My husband said WTH and Rambo style went into the shower and just gave it a real strong push to start it through the shiny surface. I used a spray bottle of water on the tile and bit while he was going through to keep it cool. Once it passed the shiny finish, it cut no problem through the rest. I was yelling at him the whole time to be careful and to slow down because I was so worried about the tile cracking. You can see in the photos it made a very clean cut and almost no chipping. We had to hack saw down the cartridge a little bit in the front because the bit wasn't quite deep enough to get through the thick tile without hitting the cartridge. I can't believe it's finally done and could not be more happy with my purchase! FYI: We used it in our DeWalt drill and made sure to make plenty of guide lines in pencil because we had to get it spot on over the cartridge or risk a bigger problem.

Good for the money
Cut two nice clean holes through fiberglass panels with relative ease. Cutting edge still looked to be in good shape.

Great tool for the money
I used this 5 1/2" hole saw to cut a hole through porcelain tile and HardieBacker board to install a Kohler tub valve. Because it is my time and labor, I usually buy the top-of -the-line tools for a job. After looking though various on-line sources for a 5 1/2" diamond hole saw, it appeared to me that only 2 or 3 versions dominated the space and, regardless of the manufacturer's name/logo, among versions, they were identical. However, the prices varied widely. When I came across this one on Amazon, it appeared to be the same as others costing much (3X+) more and the reviews were very good. So, because I only had one hole to cut, I decided that I would try it out. It exceeded my expectations, by a lot. Not only did it cut a chip-fee hole through the tile, it went through the backerboard with ease. I used a squirt bottle with water to cool the saw while cutting, periodically stopping and letting the saw cool with water rinsing. Also, instead of trying to locate the saw by tilting, I cut a 5 1/2" hole (with a wood hole saw) into a scrap piece of 1/4" underlayment and taped the board to the wall to locate the hole. Much more effective and precise locating than trying to start the cut on an angle - particularly with a hole saw of this size. Again, highly recommend based on the one hole I cut with it.

Wow cheap but it worked great.
Didn't want to spend 40 bucks on better ones. To my surprise this thing worked great. Cut 4 holes and still as good as new
