These are really good value for money and work well. They fit continental sockets perfectly and accept UK plugs as expected. What is also really great is that they can also be used with shaver / electric toothbrush plugs that have fat pins closer together. Many French hotels use normal sockets in bathrooms - hopefully with a low fuse! Anyway, these will also accept continental plugs into the UK side too. EU sockets are countersunk and do not work well with some molded plugs, even designed to be used in Europe so you can plug these in to make the socket flush with the wall. I would buy again.

Bought these for our trip to Cape Verde (European style sockets there). They fit snugly into the sockets but please be aware if they are loose or do not go fully in then the problem is probably with the socket not the adaptor - we found that some of the retaining 'clips' inside the sockets had been bent or damaged by previous occupants no doubt using an inferior adaptor. Whilst waiting to fly out I checked out the price at Gatwick airport and found a similar product priced at £10.95 for two so these represent great vale for money. Happy to recommend and as the headline says buy these BEFORE you go.

An EU Mains Adaptor is not a very complicated product, but over the years I've purchased many -- with vary different results.These Adapters are excellent. They are inexpensive, well made and (hopefully) will last.Recommended.

It's amazing how many plugs you actually need at one time on holiday; hairdryer, phones, battery chargers, laptops, portable dvd. Anyway, these plugs were great in Greece. A little stiff to get the UK plug in at first but that might have been my technique.In any event, they arrived home intact and I think they'll have years in them. They're very light and not too bulky so easy to pop in your hand luggage or case.

I buy loads of these as they mysteriously disappear all the time (?!) and altnough these are a very reasonable price they are as good if not better than those twice the price

This is a great pack for holidays. We kept having to unplug devices etc when abroad (Europe) but with this generous pack each hotel plug is ready for use. Great product great price.

I bought these adapters for my house move to France, they are working perfectly, used with my kettle and phone charger for the past month so far.(Your UK plug will be plugged in upside down) this might be bothersome depending on what you are using but I've found it great for my phone charger as its less stress on the wire.

There are British expats in the South of France and Spain with appliances brought from home. They (we) have long discovered that mains adaptors are disposable items, given the high rate of corrosion in costal areas. After some hits and misses we concluded our search for the ideal (at this stage) adaptors with the present items. So far, they meet all the requirements: not bulky (fitting the small European thingies placed side by side), cheap enough to buy multiple and to replace as needed if corroded, robust at the first glance. So far, the first choice for us.
