The key benefit is that you have no subscription fee; however, you will definitely need to review the following items:1. Check that the video is clear, and adjust the preset in the app if it is too dark or bright. Once I adjusted the preset, my picture is always very clear.2. The motion detection feature is completely unusable for me. Even at the lowest detection level, it is constantly picking up artifacts like cars driving by hundreds of feet away. Additionally, there are no definable zones. If motion detection is critical for you, it may be important to consider these restrictions. If this feature worked, it would be 5 star item.3. Audio does "work", but even over my super fast network connection, it is a bit choppy and hard to use as an intercom. Not a huge deal for me, and I think you can work through it if desired. Just don't expect something amazing and crystal clear.

Took me forever to figure that they will not pair on a hidden wireless or guest network. Had to put up a second isolated router that broadcasts the SID. They work pretty good for the price and convenience. I recommend spare batteries and a charger. Think of it as a digital camera. We always have spare batteries in the charger. Although they can be hard wired to full time power. Im just using them as a doorbell. They have security features that are neat but face it, a real security camera wont be mounted where a 5 year old kid could rip it off the wall. just tested motion.. by the time i got the alert I was already inside.. As a doorbell its fantastic.. I can see whos at the door and tell them I be right there.. If you wanna catch a crook, dont think so.. Install a hi dollar security system. You get what you pay for.

you have to constantly allow app to run in the background, otherwise, the chime in the house nor the alert notification does not work. these apps suck alot of battery off your phone to connstantly keep running. otherwise, would be a good device. for this, i cannot use. most user will not realize this.

Great wifi video doorbell. Haven't had any issues. I have to charge it once every two weeks. Great video quality. Very sensitive motion sensors, catches the wind moving my chimes. Love the package deal it comes with everything you need!!!! Best bang for your buck!!!!!

This is poor quality, I was not happy with the camera/doorbell. I sent it back.

product stopped working after 6 months. no software support. would not recommend.

Doesnt work with out wifi

I love that I can have a sense of security when I'm away from home without requiring a monthly subscription.
