Sony NP-BK1 Type K Rechargeable Li-Ion Battery Pack for Sony Webbie Camcorder, S780 & S750 Digital Cameras - Retail Packaging

The market is ripe with knock offs of the Lithium Ion batteries. I assume to avoid problems, Sony built in a test to see if the battery is a valid NP-BK1 battery. I have a battery on my desk that appears exactly the same, but is NOT. It's a knock off and my camera recognized it. While the situation is frustrating (I could not return it, since it was opened LONG after the purchase date), what's one to do to avoid the same problem.Well, this seller provides a Sony battery at a very good price. I now have a spare that I can carry with me. The delivery was prompt. The product was EXACTLY what I purchased. No knock offs.From my experience you won't go wrong with this seller / product.

It is made in China. The product is just okay. But I am not really impressed. It's a so-so product.

This is the OEM battery so it's the same kind that came with my Sony camera. Battery life is great, I was able to use it all day. Charges quickly. I purchased this one so I could have two batteries while I was out taking pictures in Europe. I got it a great price, so I am thrilled with my purchase.

I needed a second battery to continously swap 2x and 3x per day as I'm taking about 400-500 photos of forclosed and distressed properties. This battery gave long life (about 4 hours and about 250 photos) and worked right out of the box. The seller had it processed and delivered in less than 48 hours.

I purchased this battery in April and now after three months of usage, this battery is getting on my nerves. Allows me to click not more than 50 photos on 7.2pThe battery that I got with camera is still better than this one. Which clicks around 90-100 photos.I strongly recommend not buying this battery.

I bought this only a few days ago and have only received it today so I haven't really tried the battery out in a full charge. The packaging looked original, but I noticed that the font of "Lithium Ion NP-BK1" and the shape of the gray bar was slightly different from my original Sony K Battery. Also, as I've drained the battery, it got warmer and warmer (warmer than the original when in use). I give it a 4 star because it actually works on my Bloggie and because it shipped faster than the "Estimated Delivery Date" by Amazon. I took off a star because I'm skeptical about whether it is an original/genuine Sony Battery...At the moment, I can't tell whether I'd recommend this seller to anyone. I'd have to wait a couple of day to see how the battery performs, but the heating problem somewhat bothers me. Hopefully this was worth the money...Maybe only this specific battery that I receive isn't original, but I'm not quite sure about that. Hopefully, they're aware of what they're selling and whether it's original/genuine or not.

I am amazed at the battery I got for my digital camera. I was skeptical when it was advertised as a Sony battery, however its the same identical battery that came with the camera. And the price was a fraction of the retail price of between $40-50. Even with the shipping it came to about $13. I charged the battery right away and it performs just as the original battery which was furnished by the Sony camera. I am very please with the purchase and it was delivered in 3-4 days. I will definitely buy from the seller again, couldn't be happier with this purchase.

The Battery works fine, while it's charged. The thing is, that it doesn'thold a charge very long, compared to other batteries, that I've used.Unfortunately, this is the battery that my camera compels me to use, soI have no recourse.
