Delivery Placement
This is more about the delivery. This wS placed right out in front (usually they hide further back or behind the bushes and not so visible).Itgrt used to knock or ring my doorbell and leave. They don’t do that anymore. I was home taking a nap & saw notification that packages arrived.I went outside and immediately opened my package & tried the vitamin C candy. I felt all this oil & when I looked at my hands noticed the vitamins (looked like M&Ms were all melted. Not sure what to do with them?

These chewable Vitamin C pieces are not my favorite. Won't be ordering them again.
Didn't really care for the texture or taste of the Vitamin C pieces. You have to actually eat 9 pieces to get your daily percentage of Vitamin C! Not a huge fan on this product.

Not Healthy, Not Natural, Not a Healthy Way to get 90 mg of Vitamin C
For 90 mg of Vitamin C, you also get 6 grams of sugar, 6 carb grams, 1.5 saturated fat and 40 calories for their recommended serving. The ingredients include SUGAR (their first listed ingredient), CARNUBA WAX and palm oils. For these folks to title this product, "Healthy Delights Naturals, Vitamin C Creme Bites", I take exception to the term: Healthy & NaturalsYou can get a healthy Vitamin C supplement through a raw bell pepper, 1 c of steamed broccoli, 1 cup of strawberries...1 orange has a "healthy & natural" 70 mg of Vitamin C.There are tasty chewable Vitamin C "wafers" that will give you 500 mg of "C", with 10 caloriesOf course, there are tablets/capsules that will deliver zero calorie/zero sugar doses of Vitamin C for far less than $12.98 for a month's supply.I'm not anti-sugar or anti-candy. I am anti-manipulative marketing. I am anti-misleading claims to promote a product.I am pro-reducing sugar/candy intake when there are other options--especially as a vitamin supplementation. Offering a paltry 60 mg of Vitamin C cloaked in sugar as a Healthy Natural and the claim to "help support your immune system" - is bunk.

poor choice for either candy or health, unless you're replacing skittles
Tart orange candies marketed as healthy for being vitamin C supplements. But they're not particularly good candy, nor are they a particularly potent source of the vitamin. And getting people to eat candy in the guise of being healthy is a poor route to health.Vitamin C is also found in a variety of fruits, vegetables, beverages, and other foods, so is one of the easier substances to obtain from a normal diet. And there's gummy vitamins for people who have trouble swallowing pills, with a far lower calorie count for a higher vitamin dose. The only audience I can imagine benefiting from these candies are people who normally eat Skittles-- in which case the straightforward ingredients in these "Healthy Delights" are a major upgrade from the additives and chemicals in typical mass-produced candies like Skittles. Considering how tart the flavor of these orange candies is, I'd suspect Skittles-sours customers are the target audience. All of that is apart from the debunking of studies regarding large vitamin C doses and immune response (ie, the reason people commonly give for taking vitamin C isn't true). And if you still want to take extra doses of C, vitamin tablets and gummies are broadly available with low to no calories. Not recommended unless you're trying to upgrade somebody's Skittles habit.

Ascorbic Acid is the source -- that will work for some...I got heartburn.
The media could not be loaded. This bag of little M&M type candies will probably cause minor controversy because there are varying opinions about what is a "Good" source of Vitamin C. This batch is getting its Vitamin C from Ascorbic Acid, which is the synthetic form of Vitamin C and has been known to cause stomach upset for some (for me it causes heartburn). The serving size is 9 little pieces. The coating is made of Sugar, Palm Kernel oil (which is controversial due to it's effect on the rain forests and although there are good kinds (from sustainable forests), Healthy Delights doesn't indicate where it gets its palm from), milk powder, whey powder, Palm oil, soy lecithin (the rest is in the video). As for the taste, it starts out good but it started to remind me of baby aspirin which I never thought tasted like orange. And to be honest, it's not bad but has a teeny bite.I think we need to know more about how these are made. I know it can be helpful to have something at the onset of a cold but these didn't agree with me.

Tasty way to get your daily Vit C
I absolutely love these Vitamin C Orange Creme bites!!! Nine little candies get a full day supply of Vit C, which everyone really needs. Are they the healthiest way to get your full dose of Vit C? Probably not because a serving is 6g sugar/40 calories but lets be realistic. People are going to eat junk food and candy and are loath to take vitamins. If they will take a supplement that is as tasty as candy then they are getting some benefits then not adding any supplements. That's a plus in my book. And I agree with other reviewers, sugar is NOT healthy and I wish they used Monk Fruit extract instead of sugar (plant based, zero calories and sweeter than sugar so you use less). These are Non GMO & Gluten Free with no artificial flavors, colors, sweeteners or preservatives. I love them and will get more when this bag runs out.
