Good value but not without downsides
You can't get much better value than this, let's be fair. You don't get many zip convertible trousers for 14 quid.Biggest downside is lack of belt loops. If like mine your waist is somewhat rounded (not obese, just a bit rounded) a bit of integrated string just doesn't do the job of holding them in place. A belt is needed. Which. doesn't work on these...The other minor downside is the material is "noisy". It's hard to explain. But it's the kind of material I'd normally associate with outdoors.

Sizes and Pockets
ProsOrdered usual size and the waistline fits albeit a big less generous than other trousers in the same size bracket.Hip pockets are a good size. Can fit my hands in to the to the wrist comfortably with a width that doesn't squeeze the fingers together. I can't stand trousers where I can't get my hands in my pockets fully but these hip pockets are great.Length of legs are fine for me, I'm a little over 6'1.NeutralThe thigh pockets are not symetrical. The left thigh zip pocket and left thigh velcro pocket are both quite a bit shallower than those upon the right thigh. (Left and right defined as when worn). It'd only be possible to keep narrow objects in the left zip pocket.Left Zip thigh Pocket depth roughly 5.5 to 6cm. Right zip thigh pocket roughly 14cm depth on the size I ordered.ConsThe lowest part of the trousers - from the calf muscle down to ankle hem is quite narrow in circumference. While standing it's fine but sitting down legs bent or doing something that tenses the calf muscle and it becomes fairly tight but not painfully so. Most likely only a concern for people with muscular or otherwise large calfs but it's a bit of a shame when all other dimensions of these trousers fit so well. All in all, for the money these cost and expectations they do live up to their description. Wear these in summer, the look good and they are cheap.

Surprisingly good for the price
I wasn't expecting much considering how little they cost, but they're actually very good. They're very comfortable, the material feels nice and the stitching is good. The price is particularly amazing considering they are double zip-offs and they even have elastic cords round the ankles - ideal for a quick wade through a stream (or paddle in the sea), if you don't want to unzip the legs.So why not 5 stars? The zips. They feel *really* thin and cheap, they don't look like they'll last at all. You expect some corners to be cut, but I think I would have sooner spent an extra 10p for some slightly more substantial zips.Still tempted to get another pair in a different colour though, as they're great for travel in a hot country.

Size of Product
After reading reviews I was still a little undecided on which size to order, I eventually went for the 2XL with being a 38" waist and i'm so glad I did, a tiny bit on the large side but I'm happy with that as I've got these for a holiday to Egypt and want to be comfortable. I'm a 31" leg and the length is spot on for me just in case your curious. They are lightweight and I have now ordered another two pairs of different colours.. Happy with my purchase.

great value
very useful for garden, leisure, comfortable.. elastic a bit tight..quality seems good for price.....i ended up buying 3 pairs and now after extensive use I can say still pleased with them. Only fault is the zips.. one broken so far and another two do not work well. no overlap of fabric so occasionally rubs... I would buy again if price low enough [seems to have gone up]..worst case you just keep as long trousers...more home/garden trousers than anything else

Lightweight, summerwear
This item had so much potential.Positives:* Lightweight material - cool in warm weather relatively loose fitting.* Elasticated waist supplemented with a tie string and with zip fly.* Three possible lengths by unzipping leg sections, from longs down to shorts.* Comfortable and flexible.* Good price* I like the idea of leg pockets for my phone (S8+ quite long) - so I don't break it when I sit in the car...Negatives:* I am left handed, the left leg pocket is not the same as the right (why?!) comprising of small (useless - not big enough for a phone) pockets instead of two long - (see image for measurements).* The standard front waist pockets are stitched at an odd angle, making them awkward to rest hands in.* The internal stitching is finished poorly (see image) .* Elastic ties for leg-bottoms - Velcro strips would have been better.* No belt loops

elastic comfyness
I bought these for my husband, a nice pair of trousers.the fit nice as expected , could do with a little more elastication, but they are not leggings i suppose so do not have a full stretch.(not that he wears leggings, but i do haha) he said they are comfy while he is sitting as the elastic stretches a a little,

So size isnt everything apparently ?
I have been losing weight since January and needed some halfway house trousers before finally reaching my ideal weight goal. These trousers are OK but somehow I cant see them as "casual trousers" as they have a sheen to them and they feel like "workmens trousers" 😀As for the fit ? I ordered large as I'm currently between 36-38" waist and around 32" inside leg and they weren't small. They have a drawstring fastening, albeit with a zip fly, and when pulling the string as tightly as I could they fit well. As for the leg, well you can see they're a little on the long side but that's how I like them 👍Prompt delivery too 👍
