I had this fear!
I had this fear of dropping my phone while taking pictures, particularly overboard while on a cruise. This product relieved this fear. Further the tether strap is pulled through the opening in the case where the usb connection is made, the strap does not interfere with connecting the usb cable.

Get this if you need your phone on a lanyard
Wonderful product. So much better than any other lanyard holder. I don’t quite get how the longest lanyard works but I’m just using the actual phone holder with one I already had. Much better than the stretchy silicone holders that fall off or block your buttons.

make sure you get the improved version
I received the wrist lasso and after 2 weeks it came apart. I contacted the seller and they immediately sent out a new and improved product. The new wrist strap is great!
