You at what you pay for! I'm renting and can't put holes in my walls but I needed a solution to keep my puppy out of the kitchen and away from the cat & big dog food.PROS:- short in height so it's easy to walk over (and easy for my kitties to jump over)- nice design, blends in well with most decor- adjustable sizing for various width doorsCONS- flimsy, my 5lb puppy easily knocks over (Big dog is very well behaved so he doesn't try to knock it over but he easily could)- holes are a bit too big for small dogs (pup stuck her head through it and it got stuck and fell on her :,( thankfully I was right there to help her out)So I just use heavier items (i.e. Water jug, nearby furniture) to keep it propped up against the wall so she can't knock it down

Gate arrived with a very large noticeable chip on the corner of the front panel. There was also a pin missing from one of the hinges so it does not sit very sturdy at all. There are also some imperfections to the paint - it looks like they missed several holes with the sprayer and wood material shows through. Pics of all defects described above are attached.I ordered a replacement from the same company and will report back if the second one comes to us in better shape. Overall, with issues corrected, this gate will work for us because we have a small senior dog. I would not recommend for a younger, more agile dog prone to jumping, as it does not seem like a sturdy solution for retaining a more active pet. The gate is overall more aesthetically pleasing than most gates and will keep our little, calm guy from wandering where he shouldn’t.Update- replacement gate arrived with no chip but all other defects the same! These gates are cheap and poorly made! Buyer beware!

Updated review: the hinges broke after couple months of use. I’m very disappointed and would not recommend this product.I bought this gate to block my 7 lb puppy from going upstairs. It’s easy to use and no installation is needed. I like the height because it is enough to block the dog but I can hop over easily. The material is study but the hinges don’t seem very strong. The gate does its job in keeping my dog from going upstairs. She doesn’t try to push the gate. If you have a bigger dog or one that would be pushing the gate, this will not work though.

Comes put together and ready to use. We use this to keep our 80lb boxer out of the kitchen when we need to, but we can easily step over it to get around.It's sturdy and the design is pretty so it's not an eyesore.I would recommend this be used with small dogs only that don't jump, as it's quite short. My dog just knows his boundaries, but this wouldn't work for jumpers or pushers.

I wanted to like this dog gate! The design was perfect for my doorway and for the most part it appeared to be well-made. There was an odd bend at the top of one of the panels, but the reason I returned it had to do with the staining inside of all the cut-outs. Most of those surfaces were bare wood or looked like the stain had been dripped in their in a patchy way. It ruined the look of the gate.

I have no issues with the product itself. It’s sturdy and does the job of preventing my dog from getting upstairs. That said I order the diamond design and I was sent some doggy bone design? Is it too much to expect to receive what you ordered? Unfortunately I need the gate and don’t have the time to send it back.

My husband asked me to find a pet gate. This is fantastic and goes with our home decor well. I took it right out of the box and it was all set up. It keeps my Shiba Inu out of rooms we don’t want him in at the time. It’s a good height to step over. My husband is very happy I bought it.

Nice attractive dog gate for a small dog. I have a very old small yorkie who has dementia and wanders around the house and gets lost. This gate keeps her out of the bedroom and in the kitchen and looks so much better than the old fashioned child gate I’m been using for years.
