I'm delighted to say it doesn't swivel so it peels.or scrapes where I want it to.
Really good for peeling, scraping and coring. Excellent value for money, easy to grip

Cut well but don't clear debris easily
Very well made and comfortable to use, a good cutting edge that has peeled potatoes and carrots very well. My one gripe is that the peel tends to get caught between the blade and the back, so it frequently needs clearing between strokes.

A proper old fashioned peeler
I can’t use the new peelers. Saw this one and I am glad I did. Makes peeling potatoes much easier and safer.Excellent!

Not comfortable to use
I have an old one which is very similar, so thought I’d replace it. While it looks similar, it’s not as good. The twine/string doesn’t come up high enough, and is not comfortable on the finger while peeling.
