Separate boxes are a better choice. Dividing it in two makes each side so small it's a bit unpractical. I spend more time filling and spilling than cooking.

I purchased this because I liked the idea of having salt & pepper at my fingertips. Unfortunately the sections are just too narrow for me to get in and get a good amount. plus I have long nails, so it is challenging to get a "pinch"

When mine arrived the top wasn’t attached at all like it shows it is. There is a screw in the lid but the hole is stripped out so no grip. Disappointed.

The hinge or whatever is holding the lid on is very wobbly. Seems like the slightest move will break it. There doesn't appear to be any way to tighten it up. Holds a nice amount of salt and pepper that part is nice. I would recommend a spoon or something to help get them out of the wells since they are small you tend to get some of the each in the other. It's not really that big of a problem since you usually put both on food. To each his own.UPDATE: DEC 20- The lid broke about a month ago... we just kinda set the screw back in place every time we use it... its annoying.. we haven't refilled it this last time it ran out because of the hassle.. not worth the money...

I love this little Salt & Pepper Bamboo Box. It is small enough to have on the counter top where it’s handy for cooking. It looks great, too.

First one arrived broken. It was replaced.. yup with another broken one. My son in law rigged it to work even after I told him to return it. Don’t bother getting this

I have been looking for a product to use that was not too expensive. This product works as designed and I love it.
