Good clarity & well sized pieces
PurchasedDark 0.1-0.15oz (3–4g) , 0.88oz (25g)I did buff, polish & lightly oil the one on the bottom left. I these on my iPad for backlighting. The first two pictures show them dry just out of the bag. With & without backlight. ( cat investigating) the other two pictures show them wet after I rinsed them. With and without flash.I purchased these for my students to handle , ( polish?) and investigate as we are studying fossils.

Size does not meet picture
I received 43 usable pieces. 10 were actually 1" with 33 being 3/4" to 1/2". The rest (25) were under 1/2" and will be difficult to use on any type of necklace. Over 1/3 were in the .003 scale and it all adds up in weight, so the small pieces took away from the overall amount of quality weight. I will have to make it work, but I'm ok with what was received for $25. I may be willing to try another order in the future.

A great introduction to amber polishing
A research project led me to explore the Viking amber trade, and I was curious what raw amber looked like and how it was carved and polished. I ordered this raw Baltic amber from Lithuania and have been taking my time cleaning, shaping and doing a rough polish of the first several pieces. I do not know much about the quality of amber and am certainly no lapidarist, but of my first three attempts, I'm very pleased with the one in the photo. As I get better at this and learn more, I plan to buy additional amber. If you are interested, there are many websites out there that give instructions and advice on working amber.

nice size
i buy the larger size and I have been very happy with them. When cleaning them it is like treasure hunting for me and great therapy. I never know what will be beneath the sands of time. I have found a few with insects like small gnats . I don't know what I will do with all my pretty ones that are done but I am sure I will think of something.

Good for jewelry bad for science
If you are looking for cool inclusions find another source. I bought this because my guy was out and I'm impatient, won't happen again. Everything came pre cleaned besides one stone, which turned out to be just a chunk of dirt, not sure if they do that intentionally or if I was just unlucky but I would pay attention if you decide to buy from these people regularly. If you are just making cheap jewelry this is fine but don't expect anything extraordinary. They should leave the part about inclusions off of their description.

Very Nice and Authentic
I ordered some amber for my collection all the pieces were stunning, I noticed that this particular piece had a bug impression. I am thrilled!!. I'm not sure how many people know that Amber is from the Paleolithic Era but that's what makes this piece so exciting. Great quality, fast shipping I highly recommend this seller.
