Grandson Loves This Project
My grandson , 9 , wants to be an engineer when he grows up so he's always looking for things to figure out . This was my first attempt to go into science projects for him and a solar powered car is right up the alley of just about any boy . He lives a few states away so I didn't get to see him put things together but I did see a video of him using his project outside in the back yard .

OK, not great
Bought these as a project for me and 9 year old grandson. Instructions a bit weak however the cars went together and functioned. They were much smaller than I thought they'd be. OK for the money.

Big hit with the grandkids
Both kits produced nice, solid results. The more complicated one (the remote control version) was built by my 9 year old grandson and I helped my 5-year old with the solar powered model. Once constructed they were then subjected to some serious plan and emerged in one piece! Weak points is the use of adhesive tape for some of the unions between parts but not a deal breaker. I look forward to purchasing other items in this series.PS Younger grandson took his solar-powered car to school as his "show and tell" project!

This was so much fun!
This is a great science project for my homeschooler, he was able to knock it out in about 5 to 6 hours. He absolutely loved it, and we both got a kick out of. It definitely worth every penny.
