Wildkin Two Compartment Insulated Lunch Bag for Kids – School & Travel Ready - Rainbow Hearts

We are now the proud owners of two sets of matching Wildkin school bags!Our first set was the Bright Stripes 17” Megapak backpack, Overnighter Duffel Bag, 7x10 Flat Lunch Box and Nap Mat (4 pieces in total) for my daughter to use for kindergarten. The matching bright striped pattern made it easy for me and her teachers to quickly and easily identify all her stuff. This was the number one reason I purchased this and it definitely serves its purpose. Wildkin has so many types of matching school bags for kiddos I had no problem finding exactly what I wanted. Backpack was the perfect size for my little one. She fit her lunchbox, water bottle, jacket, homework folder and any crafts she was bringing home from school into her back pack. Lunch box was well insulated, the perfect size for our bento plus an ice pack, and withstood being thrown in washing machine on a regular basis. Duffel was just the right size for my 6yo’s swim clothes, shoes and towel. Nap mat was adequate, but eventually became stiff and bumpy after being washed every week. Minor issue but honestly my kid didn’t complain. The entire set survived kindergarten without any problems whatsoever. No complaints.I would have kept our original set except I realized after kindergarten that I needed a bigger lunchbox to fit her snacks and I couldn’t find the double compartment lunchbox in Bright Stripes anymore (old style) and I’m too OCD not to have a complete matching set. We chose the Rainbow Hearts pattern (so cute!) and again purchased the same 17” Megapak Backpack, Overnighter Duffel, this time we skipped the Nap Mat and changed to the Two Compartment Lunch Bag. I really like the Two compartment Lunch bag because it’s bigger. Bento lunch goes in the bottom zipped compartment, snacks in the top container. The dimensions are not the same as our original lunchbox so I’ve had to be creative with our bento set.Overall very happy with our purchases every year! Thinking this last set will last us a while.

Love this lunchbox so far! I was looking for a lunchbox that would allow a Yumbox to lay flat and still be able to hold a water bottle. This is the winner! The bottom compartment holds a Yumbox perfectly...I did take out the plastic insert. But the insert is cool because you can pack items and they won’t get smooshed. The top section is plenty large enough to hold my daughter’s water bottle (Thermos Funtainer) and much more. It is a little large to fit in my kindergartener’s backpack, but in order to fit all the stuff I want it to fit, it needs to be a tad large. My daughter loves it too! Very glad I found this lunch box. It’s exactly what I wanted!!!

Very sturdy & pretty - looks exactly as pictured. Nice size - it holds a ton of small toddler sized containers, banana, yogurt, waterbottle, etc! Deducted a star as there was one small issue i.e. I had to cut a few loose strings that were not stitched properly - not sure how that will impact the bag later but for now it's great.

Update #2: We have completed 3 school years of using this lunch bag and will continue using it. I have 2 more for my other children and they are holding up well too.Update: 2 years of this bag going strong and will be using it again whenever the children go back to school.This has been a wonderful lunch bag for the past year. My daughter has used this for both Bentgo lunch boxes and Yumboxes up to the Panino size. So far everything on the lunch bags has held up -- the seams are intact, there is no fraying around the edges of the bottom, the zippers are still fully functional, and the handles are still securely attached. The handle on the top is wrinkled from daily use, but no fraying is noticed. This box hasn't been very gently used either with it being tossed in a stroller and taken to many park visits in addition to school. I highly recommend this lunch bag (the matching backpack is just as good!) to anyone looking for a study long-lasting bag.

Good quality lunch box I love the separate compartments because I send cold items and hot food thermos the bottom compartment is perfect size for a lot of the separated Tupperware containers I can also fit in and ice pack and a water bottle. The top compartment is much bigger than the bottom I have been using this for 6 months. I have washed it in the washer it came clean stayed in one piece it is still perfect quality. I have one for each of my four kids and a bought one for my niece. My sister in-law really likes it for her also. I highly recommend this lunchbox! I am very happy that I bought this for my kids.

This is our second lunch box, had one last year that got lost the last week of school, but it held up great for the whole year and if it wasn't lost we would have been able to use it again. I like the double decker because I separate hold/room temp items from cold items and the cold pack. The strap is nice and makes it easy to carry. It cleans up easily.

I absolutely love this lunch bag. These are hands down the best lunch bags that I've come across so far. For three years I had squeezed my daughters lunches into the tiniest of bags. Now I no longer have to do that. These provide more than enough room and my kids love them. I bought two to match with their book bags. The rainbow hearts and pink leopard spotted one. I took out the bottom containers since most reviews stated that they don't hold up well. There isn't a seal on the container so I wouldn't recommend them for holding food. It's much easier to fit your own smaller containers inside anyway. I cannot say enough how much I love these bags. I will definitely be purchasing these again for the next school season.

Very durable so far 2 months into school. We bought one for each child and they work very well. Easy to clean and large enough to pack a lot of food! Great lunch box!
