I really love the fabric HeyNuts uses in their leggings and shorts- they are dense so they are opaque and really give good lower tummy control/support, but are still stretchy and super soft. It feels like a really high quality, durable fabric. I also really like the extended crotch gusset, as I find it helps prevent camel toe when there is a front seam. These shorts fit true to size, and the pocket size is perfect for a phone or small wallet. The only thing is I wish the leg opening was a tinyyyy bit stretchier, as they squish my thighs a little bit. This probably won't be an issue for most people though!

I recently discovered/purchased the Hey Nuts Workout Pro leggings. I can't believe how wonderful they feel on me. The compression is strong enough to hold me in but comfortable enough for me to breathe. The elasticity, the thickness, the colors just everything about them 🤌. I’m always on the hunt for a good pair of bike shorts as they’re basically my daily wardrobe staple. My typical go-to’s are Old Navy’s PowerSoft 8” and Aerie (American Eagle) “Real Me” bike shorts.I admit I’m a cheap-o. I typically only purchase those during a sale and that’s never when I need them. So when I saw these at a great price point before my Feb/March Disney World trip, I had to give them a shot!I prefer casual type bike shorts, because as you can probably see, I’m more of a lounge-ish and less of a workout type-a-gal lol. That being said, I like Poly/spandex or Nylon/elastane type blends with good stretch and less compression. These are actually a good combination of the two! A comfortable form- fit snug that kept its shape all day but wasn’t too snug to where it was uncomfy to sit down or anything. Also stretchy enough to cover my mid section which is proportionally larger compared to my hip/thighs. Oh, the joys of multiple chronic disorders in my 30’s.Since I basically have the silhouette of a pregnant person, I should add that these would be great for someone who’s in the process of making a tiny human!I love the high waist and they didn’t roll down AT ALL. Which is something almost all my bike shorts do at some point or another. They also didn’t ride up in the thighs, either. Which is perf for Disney to prevent chaffing from chub-rub. Literally the last thing you need when walking 25k+ steps/day.The only squats I do are after I drop something but in that aspect I’d say they’re “squat-proof” or whatever. You wouldn’t see my underwear or booty-crack when bent over or anything.I’m typically a 16/18 in AE jeans and an XL in the Old Navy and Aerie leggings and bike shorts that I mentioned in the beginning so I went with XL in these too, and they were perf. Also about 43in at the widest point of my waistline for reference if that helps anyone.So basically, TLDR; I will absolutely be purchasing more. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk : )

I bought this brand short because the one I have bought in the past was out of stock. So on the positive, the side pockets are positioned well, and the fabric is really nice and soft. But the big disappointment is that the high waist band rolls down. Perhaps for someone without curves, this wouldn't happen, but I find it very frustrating to constantly straighten out the waist.

I was a bit hesitant when I tried these on as they seemed to be a bit snug. I decided not to exchange them for a size bigger. I wore them to gym and they are the most comfortable workout shorts I have ever worn. The legs don’t ride up and the high waist is perfect for keeping you comfortable and not in fear of bending over and exposing skin. I will definitely be ordering more of these. Love them!

I was skeptics but these are truly Lulu Align dupes. I wear a size 2 and the xs was perfect.
