I like that it is indeed quiet.

Really like this fan ordered another one is simple to assemble and very very quiet.

So this is probably the quietest fan I've ever had. It's NOT the strongest, but it does the job! Keeps me cool that's for sure. I only decided to get this fan in replacement of using our ceiling fan, which I am pretty sure SPIKES up our electric bill in the summer time... Going to test it out for a whole billing cycle and see if anything changes. I'm hoping so. And yes, IT IS made of a lot of plastic, but is sturdy enough and to be honest it's not much of an eye sore like some other tower fans. It could be much slimmer since it got some slight bulk to it. The remote does the job and I like the green knob to change the speed settings. Overall I am pretty happy with this fan!

This fan has some really nice features and it is pretty quiet compared to other tower fans I have owned. However there are some flaws that could be improved. First are the LED lights in the front of the fan. They are bright enough to light up your room at night and I was playing shadow puppets on the wall behind me until I turned the unit off. The night mode will dim the led panel but it locks the fan to max speed and then decreases that speed over the course of several hours. Not everyone is going to want their fan running full blast just to dim the led panel. I purchased some dimming film that I placed over the front led panel to bring down the brightness down to a manageable level. Next is the oscillation motor makes a rattling noise. I ended up calling lasko and replacing my fan because the first one I purchased made an annoying rattle anytime I used the oscillation feature. The replacement fan I received made the exact same rattling noise just not quite as loud. Overall I'm somewhat disappointed. There is a lot of good design here but mixed with a lot of bad such as putting bright white LEDs instead of red LEDs which are much more pleasant in dark rooms. I would expect a company like lasko that has been making fans for quite some time now to not make such poor design mistakes.

Tower is quiet features were nice as well gave it a 4 due to the light when dimmed for sleep was not on remote and whenever you changed settings the dimmed lights brightened and you had to get up out comfy bed to dim lights again in addition the level of coolness would always change to a lower setting automatically despite the room temperature required the higher setting you selected in middle of night when you needed the higher settings the most.and it was difficult to move from one location to another due to the hand placement only allowed a finger grip not deep enough to feel secure feeling like your fingers may slip out causing you to possibly lose your grip of the tower!

This fan replaced its brother with the ionic filter. Sadly the whisper quiet doesn't come with that ionic feature because it actually works. However the ionic fan was extremely loud compared to this new model. The difference in the amount of noise is tremendous. This fan is literally as quiet as advertised. Even on high, this fan is significantly quieter than the ionic fan on low. I use a high powered blower to clean my fans once a month, so the noise wasn't from dirt. I have turned my television down 4 clicks because now I can hear it at a normal level. I do leave my fans run on oscillate 24/7. I should have bought this sooner.

We love these fans. They are quiet and effective. The remote control is nice. I wish the display brightness could be adjusted; in night mode, it starts at full power and ramps down over a few hours so it's on lower power when you wake up.We bought two, one is slightly noisier than the other, but they are much quieter than most fans.
