I have a 57 pound standard poodle. She is extremely active in the car and I have looked for items to secure her safety. One of the first things I purchased was a sling cover for the backseat of my 2015 Subaru Forrester . The brand I purchased was highly rated connected with a dog kennel club and protected my backseat adequately especially from water but was slick for my dog's paws and allowed her to slide around more than I would like even though I had a vest on her attached by a seatbelt. In addition to slipping on the seat, her sliding made noise that was a little annoying and the flap that comes across the back of the front seat did not hold firmly or in a way that I felt comfortable when she pulled forward. As a result of my concerns I began researching for a better mat for the back of the car and I came upon this one with the deluxe removable velvet cover. After much research I purchased this seat cover. When it arrived my husband installed it and said it was a much better fit and more secure on the seat. We immediately felt this was a much better fit for our car. The side flaps protected the edge of the backseat of our car much more than the other one. Once it is secured around the back of the four head rests the divider keeps her from pushing her long nose and neck so she is much more secure. There is also a zipper down the divider that keeps her safely behind the front seats that can be unzipped to allow you to remove the lopp around the heads rest and drop the side for a human passenger and still keep the sling in place on the dogs side. This is a great feature. The velvet cover gave her a much better footing for sitting on the backseat Without slipping and she showed her pleasure immediately by rubbing her head on it and lying down much more than she had before. The fit of the car seat cover is great and access to the seatbelts are perfect. The added pocket is a plus for putting her leash in for when we get her out of the car and anything else you might want to carry. It has a Velcro tab to close the pocket from pain muzzles. We still have the protection of a water resistant layer to protect seat covers and keeping the back seat clean. The ability to remove the velvet cover for washing is a great plus. Also, with summer here, I believe this material does not get as hot when the sun shines in the car while parked so when we put her back in the car, the seat covering is more comfortable than the slippery fabric cover that I believe retained a little more heat. Tilly definitely gives this backseat cover five paws up from the one she had before. In summary it fits the backseat of our Subaru much better, is very secure, is comfortable, and it came with a hairbrush as a little extra bonus. The price was very good for what I consider a high-quality backseat cover. In addition just from an ascetic sense the seat cover looks so much better than the one I had before. I would not hesitate to purchase this seat cove again. I now feel my precious girl is much more secure riding in the back when we go around corners and down hills and she is able to hold her footing on the seat without slipping. She also loves the divider to sit back, straight up, and feel like she is in the front with us watching out the window crazing down the road.

GET IT. I have a Toyota Rav4 SUV and the large fits PERFECTLY. The color matches my light and dark grey closth seats. I searched for HOURS online to find a dog seat cover that would not tear easily and was made of a good material (as very few on Amazon are) that is under $45. It has all the features you need, like a pocket for his leash on the side of the hammock, elastic straps on the underside of the seats to further help it not move, a zipper down the middle of the front part of the hammock so I can take one side down but not the other, PLUS it has a super plush detachable cushion for my dog so he is not laying on slippery plastic! The majority of the seat cover is a nice denim-like plastic. The buckle straps do seem like they could get loose with a 100+ lb dog laying on the hammock side, but that is not a huge deterent for me. I can just tie them if need be, but we will see. I was very skeptical about buying a seat cover online, especially with all the negative reviews about tearing and loose straps, but this one is GREAT!

I LOVE this car seat cover for so many reasons!! First, its a “velvety” surface so my dog is not sliding around on it. The snap-off pad is genius and came in very handy on a recent road trip when my dog got car sick. I snapped it off, threw it in the washer, hung it to dry and voila!, it was like new again. The anchors that tuck in between the seat cushions work very well at holding the cover in place. I love the flaps that cover the sides of my car seats and protect them when my dog jumps in and out. The pockets on this cover are very handy for stashing a leash and a few poop bags. On the whole it is very sturdy and well made. Whoever designed this cover knew what he/she was doing and what a dog lover like myself would want!

I’ve been looking for a dog seat cover that I can use for my husky in both summer and winter, and I’m so excited to find Furry Buddy All-season pet car seat cover because it really works perfectly to my expectations. 1.      It covers the backseat of my Highlander perfectly like a glove and it also fits the trunk!2.      The material is pretty durable and high-end and I love the color too.3.      Both the removable pad and the grey cover are waterproof, and looks pretty good.4.      After a very easy installation, the seat cover stays securely in place by using the two seat anchors and also the anti-skid bottom.5.      Most importantly, I love the idea that it features a removable micro fiber pad and also the hair brush! Now I have no headaches of taking my dog for a ride. A very happy purchase, highly recommended!

I love it!!! Past covers I had didn't have the side flaps so every time my dog jumped into the back seat, she would catch the edge of the cover and I'd have to fix it. This cover fit the back seat of my Prius perfectly. I use it as a hammock and this cover straddles over front to back seat beautifully. Very easy to install. BEST of all, this cover looks luxurious! Looks rich and elegant. First thing my dog did when she got in was rub her face in it and roll around. She loves it. Oh, there was absolutely no foul smell when I opened the bag.

There is so much that I love about this product. The zippered hammock,the pockets,the removable pad, the fact that the straps buckle rather than stretch. The material seems nice and pretty strong too. BUT it isn't tall/high enough for my back seat. The seat stabilizers (is that what they're called?) do hold it in place but the fit is off. So the hammock and seat portion shift and bunch and the back of the seat is still getting hair on it. In addition to that, the velcro openings for the seat belt buckles aren't settled properly so it's hard to keep them closed with the dog back there-more hair on the seat.It's a bit frustrating and a slight disappointment. However,I still like it more than my last one. It's been used and I don't know if it gets better than this so...I'll deal until I find something else
