A+ travel rod
This is a great rod for casting the beach, it throws 1/2 oz jigs well. It can handle some pretty big fish too. One of the guides came off and the warranty and customer service was exceptional. I recommend this rod to anyone who asks me about it, performs better than rods I have spent 3x the money on.

Strong Blank Mid Reel Seat
Rod is great in terms of value and feel. It has a nice stiffness and could handle some serious fish. However the guide feet rust easily (mostly cosmetic) and the reel seat nut comes loose. Not lose your reel loose but enough to be a bit annoying.

Great travel rod
Fished this rod in Hawaii and SoCal. Great rod for the money fishes the same as my other surf rods that are the same length. The case is super sturdy, you can never tell it’s a three-piece instead of a one or two-piece rod. Great sensitivity and castability.

Best Travel Rod For The Money!
I’ve purchased the MH version, and have already taken it on many trips. I love the rod, sensitive yet with a ton of backbone. And the travel case is also high quality, can’t wait to take the rod with me to Hawaii & Japan this year! Stoked! Best Value for the money for sure!
