Great Customer Service, Great Safety tool!
Are there products out there? Yeah. Did I need a super fancy one with more colors and metal parts? No.I ordered this as a simple safety device for my 3 year old, whom doesn't understand how water can scald her. Miss independent kept defiantly turning the faucet to the left & blasting the hot water....despite my efforts to help her understand why this isn't safe, & the correct way to turn the faucet for warm water. Now my toddler understands that red means hot & what colors dictate the water is safe, I can allow her to wash her hands on her own without hovering over her. It's been a joy watching her enjoy using this in the sink & nice not having to worry. The device glows brighter depending on how much water pressure is being used. I thought it was really cool how the red color starts blinking when you leave the water running for a few minutes & it begins to reach dangerously hot temperature. The first one we ordered was defective, & did not work. Customer service was hands down great! When the company followed up to make sure I was satisfied, I explained the problem. Not only did they work with me to try & trouble shoot any other possible issues, they sent me 2 more to replace the defective one. That was very impressive. So now, I not only have a working one, I have a back up!

Kinda Cool - With Some Issues
Ok, first, it’s kind of cool. No batteries involved. Power is generated by a impeller spun by the force of the water.Naturally, marketing photos often don’t live up to the reality. Even my photos are a bit inaccurate. The color doesn’t actually travel down the stream. It’s mostly the ring at the outlet that lights up. The reason is that the water exiting the faucet is not a single solid stream like the marketing photos show, but rather, aerated. So the light doesn’t actually travel very far.Another issue is that the light isn’t activated until there is enough force to spin the impeller. As a result, you do have to turn on the water relatively hard to get the light to activate. Which means a mildly flowing stream of water could be very hot and not trigger the light. One more thing: I wish the temperature triggers were a little lower. Meaning, warm (green) doesn’t actually trigger until the water is kind of Hot. Then red triggers when the water is WAY TOO HOT. So as a warning device it might not be very effective.Still, the product is neat. And can be real handy in the middle of the night. So 3 stars despite the issues.

Works great
I enjoy the temperature controlled colors. Makes it safer for young kids, if the water is too hot, they will recognize it before sticking their hands in. Fun novelty for when guests come over also. It’s works as described. What I don’t like is minor. There is a design flaw - the filter screen is incorporated into the gasket. Unfortunately, the gasket is partially nestled and partially set on top which prevents its use on any of my faucets as the device will not screw in with it on. The good is that it doesn’t leak without the gasket, the bad is that it ‘may’ shorten the lifespan of the gadget. But, it is cheap (price) and if it clogs in a couple of years I’ll just buy another. In fact, I like it enough over the minor flaw that I plan on purchasing a couple more.

Great customer service, but product works intermittently.
**UPDATE** I have upgraded this product from 1 star to 3 because customer service was so excellent. I received another faucet head free of charge, shipped out a day after I shared my concerns with the company. However after a week of testing, the product works intermittently starting from day one. When the light comes on, it does display the corresponding colors, but the light doesn't come on with every use.I would have given this product 5 stars as it worked marvelously. Blue when cold, green when warm, and red when hot, just as described. It saved my son's hands from being burned after I did dishes. However, I've only had it for a week and already the light has stopped working. The water pressure hasn't changed and I didn't have the water running constantly which might cause a shorter life. I really wanted this to work out and am quite disappointed.

Cool. As advertized. 4 stars instead of 5 because of personal taste quibbles.
I bought three. I've only used them two weeks. They are really "cool" but I may get tired of them. Key observations: (1) Lights (not fully) at fairly low flow rate. (2) Changes colors at a slightly too low temperature for my taste. (3) Flashes red long before the water is so hot it is painful or could burn. An early-warning device. (4) Much greater water flow than with a water-saver aerator, and the many tiny streams have considerable force - so, great for cleaning out the shaving cream can nozzle but not so nice when the water ricochets off the tooth brush or water glass. (5) They protrude almost twice as far from the faucet as the conventional aerators I replaced.

Interesting gadget.
Easy installation. It extends the nozzle of the faucet considerably more than what I originally thought it would. It also increases the force of the water coming out. Previously the water was atomized nicely but now it seems to come out with a greater force. Not bad for cleaning my shaving razor off but notably stronger than original. If you try to just barely put the water on for a softer stream, then the lights won't light up. They require a certain water flow to turn on. As for the temperature. It doesn't change as the water gets colder/warmer. It seems to read the temp of the water when it turns on and the color stays the same until you reduce flow/increase flow...then it reads temp again and changes color accordingly.I still like it, and it's still installed.

Dazzling 30 Second Light Display!!
I Gathered the family in the kitchen one evening on the promise of a mind-blowing light show; the likes of which Nine Inch Nails and Muse would have been envious of. I could barely contain my excitement as I fixed the LED light changing aerator head to the kitchen tap (faucet) using the provided adapter. The indecision of choosing hot or cold to start the light display just added to the tension so I chose a mid-way warm water combination with the intention of switching between the two to dazzle the spectators in the kitchen with a stunning 3 way light show. The tap was on! The lights lit up the room In a cascade of red, green, blue and back again. The glee etched into my familiy's faces was something i will never forget as they gazed in awe at the amazing lights that the tap was now producing! Then Darkness! almost as soon as the lights started they stopped, never to brighten my kitchen or the faces of my beloved family again. :((seriously though; it lasted about 30 seconds and stopped working. returned for a refund)

WARNING: Bad investment - no return policy - Not as described
The product does not work as described. Here are some point for you to consider before donating your money to this seller:1.The temperatures of the water were too hoto before the red came on.2. The tap needs to be on full flow to activate the lights, which is fine if you turn your taps on full blast to wash your hands. We don't?!3. The length of the attachment adds a good 30mm to the tap and some smaller sinks (like ours) will have restricted space to wash your hands. Couple that with the increased water pressure required and you don't need me to explain the splash back, do you?4. I wouldn't have spent the time to make such a negative comment if the seller hadn't had a 'No returns policy'. BOOM!!! You just turned me into a victim and that's not cool, at all!!5. Not being able to return the product clearly shows that they have no confidence in customer satisfaction and it is reasonable to conclude that this product does not work as described.6. Amazon may want to consider the honesty of this seller before allowing future trasactions.Amazon - Please remove my 1-star rating as it should be -5 stars.

Very poor version of this type of novelty
Have had a few cheap ones of these in the past and thought I would spend a bit more to get a more durable quality product but was very disappointed. I have a normal domestic kitchen tap but it needs to be flowing so fast to light the device the water splashes out the sink and the red light will not come on even when water is too hot to put your hand in!

If you need the adaptor check there is space on your tap (won't fit Grohe red new style tap)
I've given this 5 stars because it works as expected (proven on another tap) and looks really good. However it does not fit on the new style grohe instant boiling water red tap (which is what I wanted). This is because the aerator needs the adaptor fitting, which you can see by the product photos is tapered (from small to large). The Grohe tap has a male connector, correct diameter but it is recessed into the main tap body, so that alto the thread just engages, the taper then won't fit into the tap body. This is not a fault etc with the product - it is exactly as described, but this review hopefully will be useful to Grohe users.I did try to return it but because of what it is, returns are not permitted (Amazon returns policy not seller's). I'll use it on another house tap.PS still not found one on any site that will fit the Grohe red tap!

Cool light show
Incredibly good value for money, nozzle looks good quality and the LED is surprisingly bright (see picture) but there isn't quite enough pressure on the hot water side (about 5 psi) to see the red LED come on - Green flickers a bit when mixing with the 10psi main cold water supply which gives a steady bright blue light - the tap adaptor leaked slightly as per the other reviews but this was easy to fix using a bit of PTFE tape on the thread - I get a good aerated spray from the nozzle which was better than the original tap nozzle which splashed everywhere - overall quite pleased but dropped a star because of the high pressure requirement .
