Castrol Transmax ATF/CVT Universal Automatic Transmission Fluid, 1 Gallon

Those of us with a CVT who want to avoid the very costly overhaul or replacement of our transmissions, should replace the fluid at regular intervals. Unfortunately, the stealerships and other service centers will take you to the cleaners for doing this very easy job. And even when we want to do it ourselves, the cost of the fluid can make us put it off. That is where Castrol comes to our rescue. This is just as good as the more expensive NS-3 rated brands. I have bought it before, used it a few times, put many miles on the vehicle, then used it again. I have experienced zero issues, and saved a lot of money using it. My vehicle is a 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander with 105K miles as of this review. So far, I have drained and refilled the CVT three times and it works as well as the day I drove it off the lot.Five stars all day long!!!

Did the first flush ever for my second owner OB with 192k at the time, now at 195k, I'm still noticing lower temps, better CVT travel and shifting as well as a quieter, smooth transmission with better shifting between gears (PRND) with faster actuation as well.

3 Months in and I replaced my transmission fluid on my 2017 Nissan Altima 2.5L SV . Been running great . Absolutely worth it for the price . NS3 was what was required for my car and this has been going strong so it will definitely work with any Nissan Altima CVT that needs NS2 or NS3. I would recommend it and buy it again for myself

Dropped pan, replaced filters, measured fluid that came out. What do you know, it was exactly 4 quarts. Had the front end up on shallow Jack stands. Took it for a drive after the drain and fill, and ran perfectly. Why buy expensive Nissan cvt fluid?
