Q: If this hose is "lead safe" why does the listing contain a Prop 65 warning? Does the hose contain lead or not?

Prop 65 does not mean it contains lead. Hose does not have lead. But contains in some amount, one or more of the over 900 natural or synthetic chemicals listed by California oehha .ca. gov /proposition-65 /about-proposition-65 , and so even the dye used in coloring the hose could be the item causing the Prop 65 warning. Look it up, many color dyes in food and other things, is in the list.

Q: is this hose safe for drinking water and is it lead free? I would use it for drinking hose for my rf.

No indications of lead in this hose. Brass fittings and vinyl coil hose should be fine for drinking. Of course it's not good to let water sit in the hose for extended periods of time then drink, as bacteria could grow..

Q: can this hose be connected to an indoor faucet?

If the indoor faucet is a standard kitchen sink type, then the answer would be no. The threads on the coupling are for a standard outdoor water spigot, or one that might be found on a heating or hot water system in the utility area of the house (basement?)
