I needed a car charger for my Enelope (NiMH) batteries. Since I already have a USB car charger, I attached a Sycee 1A charger to my USB cigarette lighter charger. This charger charges faster than my AC wall outlet chargers and has worked well for me.Pros:1. Fast charging when connected to my 2A USB cigarette lighter charger. About an hour for fully drained 2000mAH AA NiMH battery.2. Small package that fits in my dash storage area nicely and near cigarette lighter port.3. Has been working fine for few months. Will report if any problem arises.Con:1. charging status light is too bright for night driving. deep recessed status light with low luminescence LED should work better. ( I know nit picking)2. supplied USB cable has to be worst quality I have ever seen.Uses:1. Charging NiMH batteries (AA and AAA) for handheld flashlights, head mounted flash lights, wireless mouse, and other mobile gadgets I use in my truck.2. Charges faster than wall AC outlet chargers, so I use this even for household rechargeable batteries.3. Future Lithium battery flashlights.

I cannot recommend this item at all because it is a hazard!I've only used this charger a few times; i keep it in my laptop back for on-the-go battery charging.Today, I put two Sanyo AAA at the same time, both sides had a single blinking led.An hour or two later, the left battery had three blinking led while the right one still had a single blinking led. I thought that maybe the charger had favored the left battery and the right battery would start charging. I removed the left battery.Another hour later, the right side still only had one blinking led... I decided to take out the battery to put it in the left slot. However, it was VERY HOT to the touch! I let it cool down and once it felt like room temperature, i put it in the left slot and it had one blinking led, then two, and then three! It was already fully charged!I strongly believe that, if I left the battery in the charger overnight or unattended, it probably would have burst...The charger did not detect the battery's voltage so I do not believe it would have ever stopped. Who knows what would happen if the charge r does this with a lithium ion battery... I use 18650 cells often and IDK if I'll ever feel comfortable putting them in this charger.I've already passed the return period but i will probably keep it as an emergency portable charger and warn anyone who uses it to check on the battery constantly.Edit: UPDATE 5/15/17The seller contacted me and offered to work out a resolution, even after the 30 day's had passed. Adding 1 star because of the positive customer service experience. If you bought from them and your item broke but you aren't sure if they'll offer replacement, partial refund, etc. Then I would suggest that you contact them. I had a good customer experience. I still wouldn't recommend this charger though.

The power cord had a very loose connection in the charger. Had to wiggle it and get it positioned just right for it to work. After contacting the seller they offered to send me a replacement at No Cost and refunded my original purchase!! The new one works great!! Great customer service!!

An excellent battery charger, and one I have been glad to have purchased many times over! I can confirm that it works with a standard USB plug, from a USB cable plugged into an outlet, or when plugged into my Anker 21W Dual USB Solar Charger (also available on Amazon). It adjusts itself to fit AAA or AA batteries, and the indicator lights do a great job of letting you know when the batteries are charging and also when fully charged. I would recommend this to anyone who uses rechargeable batteries and who may need a way to recharge them other than a standard outlet plug.

Only one of two charger slots work, disappointed.Edit: I was quickly contacted by the seller and provided a replacement free of charge, the replacement works great.

Simple , but do its job perfect. Good progress indication. Can charge couple or single battery . Driven by regular usb cable.Not heating up. Light weight. Nice design. Flexible for battery length , match for AA and AAA (probably others too)

Charged many 2200mah AAs off of a power bank for my GPS and headlamp in the field. This will not do quick charging of NiCd cells, so be patient. Battery charge indicator seems to work fine. Only complaint is how loose batteries are in their little divots, they are only really held in place by the spring tension.

Unfortunately I took this on vacation and it died within a week. It now blinks the initialization lights, then seems to power off. Sometimes one bay will pretend to charge for a few minutes, then it will falsely show a full charge. I have tried 5 different high quality 2.4 amp chargers and several quality USB cables and several batteries. It is definitely the charger to blame.
