Philips Sonicare Battery Toothbrush, Mint Light Blue, HY1100/03

This appliance is well designed, very well priced on sale, powered by batteries that are included, and comes with additional brush heads. It is compact, can fit in a purse or night kit, and is very vibrant. It does a great cleaning job, and should last a long time. No cords or plug-ins of any kind are needed. This is a great product.

The gentle vibrations feel effective but not harsh, and the built-in timer helps me brush thoroughly every time.I love that it runs on a single AAA battery—great for trips or when I don’t want to worry about charging. The included case is a nice bonus, and the brush itself looks great on the counter. If you’re looking for a simple, affordable electric toothbrush that still gives you that Sonicare clean, this is a great choice.

Love this amazing travel tootbrush! I always miss having my full size sonicare electric toothbrush when I'm traveling, and after 3.5 weeks in New Zealand this little gem did not disappoint! Takes 1 AAA battery which is still going after the trip! It's not as powerful as the full size sonicare, but it cleans better than a manual TB and it's small and thin enough to pack up. One nice feature is that it doesn't leak all over the case is well designed and as long as you insert the bursh side down you are good to go! I highly recommend this for travel if you are hooked on your electric TB!

I have used Philips Sonicare products for 20+ years and have never had a cavity. That being said, Sonicare products are expensive and sensitive to being dropped and even changing/removing brushheads frequently (while traveling) can decrease their useful lives. Because I now own the DiamondClean for home use and it costs about $200, I don't want to take it with me anywhere and break it.I have tried other electric toothbrushes like M-Teeth and Fairywill, but those are terrible and actually have worse results than just using a regular $2 toothbrush. The best option I found for travel was the very heavy and loud (but inexpensive) Spinbrush Pro, which is merely OK and has no travel case but costs only $5.Now, I believe that this Sonicare One is a decent travel option because it actually does vibrate sonically (different than mechanical brushing like the competitors). Its power is slightly less than the lowest (Sensitive) setting on the DiamondClean. It doesn't feel powerful and the cleaning was about 75-80% as good as the DiamondClean and way better than manual brushing while remaining about the same size as a regular toothbrush as well as being better, quieter and lighter than the Spinbrush Pro.I think Sonicare One is priced right and that this would also be a good choice for children or as a gift for an entry-level sonic cleaning toothbrush.

As a bicycle touring enthusiast, I find ways to improve my touring gear each year. This year's biggest improvement was the upgrade to this Sonicare travel brush. For the past two years, I had been using a pretty good travel brush made by Gleem, but I was attracted to this Sonicare model because of its timer function and its large, moderately soft brush heads. As a long-time user of Sonicare brushes at home, I had come to rely on their self-timer to keep me honest and keep my dentist happy. It was good to have this function available on the road. The other major feature on this Sonicare is its vibration level. It pretty much duplicates the full-sized home model. You do feel some vibration in the handle while using it, but that's to be expected since the handle weighs only about 1/5 as much as the home model. Considering all of the features, along with its excellent case, I can't imagine a better travel brush. BTW, it's an amazing value.

Absolutely love this toothbrush! Purchased for a friend for travel, no recharging. Lasts a long time on AAA batteries. Great price, reputable brand and has a great case! A definite must have for work, travel or to use daily at home. 2 minute timer (four 30 second increments) great for all ages!

We've been using the Philips line of electric tooth brushes for many years, with excellent results - and compliments from our dentist. However one this is for sure - you won't get more than a couple of years from it. Every one has broken down by year two. Thus, we're now switching to Oral B.
