I bought this lamp for a drafting table I recently acquired hoping to give a little extra visibility to my workspace. TLDR it's perfect in more ways than one! I've so far used it from drafting, as a back light for live streams, and as a night light. It does quite a bit!Pros:1. Adjustable arm, can move and swivel the light into almost any direction2. Super happy with this lamp. My desk area is a little cramped and it's a bit hard to position the lamp at times but the ability to change the light to my exact needs is well worth the headache of trying to find the optimal position. It's super bright, easy to set up and easy to use the controls. If you need a good bright lamp that gives you plenty of light from any angle, this is for you.

This is a great lamp to shed light on your projects or just give extra light to your desk. My office is very dark and I felt like a vampire, thankfully this light didn't kill me....though it could have! The power adapter it comes with (usb brick) made a weird noise and the lamp shut off. I looked at the adapter and lo and behold it had melted! Not a great quality device! I do suggest swapping that out. That being said, really the only other issue I had was the length of the usb cable, it could have an extra maybe 2 feet to be useful.Everything else was great. Takes up very little room to clamp onto my desk, moves around easily, and the various lighting modes help set the tone for those super awesome monday morning zoom meetings.*update 12/14*So, I'm afraid to keep using this lamp. I swapped the melted power adapter with a good quality one, and I can smell burning plastic when it's being used, and the end of the usb cable (the metal part) becomes very hot - this is not normal for a usb powered device. It's like it's drawing waaay to much power. I'll have to put a meter on it and see what's going on. As it is now though, I'm not going to keep using it. YMMV.

Based on my set-up, I don’t have much room to have a desk lamp that can stand on my desk. Therefore, I needed a desk lamp that has the capabilities to take minimal space but still have the same capabilities as a stand-up desk lamp. Therefore, I browsed the web and saw a clamp desk lamp (that rhymes) and from there I went to the ol’ trusty Amazon to complete the purchase. The Ibaye Clamp Desk Lamp costs roughly 29 dollars, which is basically the same price as a stand-up desk lamp. However, the advantages include freeing up a lot of desk space and the light shines above your head which helps in not distracting up and mimics a ceiling light. Also, since it’s on a clamp the lamp gives you plenty of freedom not only height wise but also movement in the left and right direction, giving up the freedom to place it however you see fit. On top of that, the lamp has three different color options consisting of blue, normal (white), and yellow tone. Lastly, the set-up was effortless and easy to set up with just tightening the clamp and the rotator just below the lamp. Overall, the price is right and helps free up desk space that I don’t have much of. Thus, I definitely recommend the Ibaye Clamp Desk Lamp.

I loved this so much I bought a second one for my partner's desk. The controls are very easy and it does remember what you selected if you shut it off and turn it back on. It clips easily to a surface and the option for USB or standard plug is nice. The lamp itself can be many different positions and tightened to stay. Very affordable and feel I got more than what I paid for! Highly recommend.

So, I had high hopes with this lamp.But, let's just put it out - zero stars. Not worth it.I plugged the lamp in and after about 15 minutes the light went out. Next thing I noticed is a strong smell. So I checked on the lamp and noticed that odor came from the actual plug. That plug was hot and most likely about to catch fire. I could barely touch it.After I pulled the cable out of my surge protector the burned smell did not stop for a long time.So, you get what you pay for and this product is unsafe.I am glad I was sitting next to it and that my house didn't burn down.If you hate a person, gift them that lamp. It might do good and burns a place down.

As I work from home several days a week, I needed a desk lamp, especially one that didn't glare white light on my computer and screen. When I read about this I thought it would fit my needs and it does. This has a clamp on it so you can clamp it to your desk, therefore not taking room off your desk for a lamp base. Nothing to put together, just attach the clamp to you desk and place the lamp into a hole on the clamp.It has a bunch of shades of light so finding the right one shouldn't be a problem. You can also position the "arm" of the lamp to wherever you need it. I needed the light on shine OVER the computer and not to glare on it from the side.Another nice detail is that you can plug it into your computer via a USB or use the adapter plug, which I do.I only had one issue and a quick note to the company via Amazon took care of this, with a very quick response. I turned it on and it wouldn't light up. You have to "Charge" it, which I thought was odd when I first read it. So I plugged it in for a few hours and let it charge and it works perfectly.I have been using this for a couple of weeks now and have had no issues, loving it so far.
