This safety razor is amazing, and it is built Ford tough! It is very sturdy in weight and all painted steel (baby pink option purchased). For a woman with tiny hands, I was a bit fearful that I would drop it and slice my leg. However, the weight allowed me to remember not to apply pressure while shaving and to hold the razor at 30 degrees at all times. I did get my fingers too close to the blades when putting on the first blade, because I didn’t know what I was doing.In the box, you will find your safety razor, a pack of 10 refill blades, and NO instructions what so ever! I had to ask my 71 year old mother how to open this thing to put in a blade, because I had no clue. It is a simple unscrew of the handle that releases the cover. Then I decided it would be a smart idea to look on YouTube to see how to use it before user error leads to an ER visit. Type in the brand name and up pops a video on how to load the blades and how to use the safety razor.I really don’t know what took me so long because my shaved arms (first spot tested) feel so smooth and soft that I will never go back to disposable razors.Update: I’m still using this razor; however, I added EOS shea butter dry skin shave cream to keep from nicking. Also, I purchased a leather case to keep it from potentially getting scratches. I would not keep it in your shower without a leather case.

I didn't cut myself and it was my first time using a safety razor. Despite my skin being extremely sensitive and intolerant to shaving I had 0 irritation, and got a really close shave. The color is beautiful and the weight is perfect. This is definitely worth giving a try

I bought this to reduce my plastic waste and because I've heard these are better than disposable razors. It was super cute and felt sturdy, but there was a weird space between the blade and head. Had high hopes for it, but it just wasn't up to par. This did not give me a good shave and unfortunately my plastic razor does a better job. I will just invest in a Leaf razor.

Maybe I’m doing something wrong but I’ve tried and tried time again and every single time I use this razor my legs are covered in blood from little nicks everywhere I have tried different shaving cream and exfoliating nothing works for me

The razor itself has good grip and weight. The only issue is the gap and angle of the blade edge is inconsistent from side to side. I returned the first razor for a replacement and it also had the the problem. I cringe thinking someone who isn't experienced with a safety razor would try this one and seriously injure themselves due to the defect.

I’ve had this for a bit and love the functionality of it but the paint has been chipping pretty badly recently.

This razor is so amazing. I was scared but this is so safe. It felt like I wasn’t actually shaving but as instructions said don’t apply pressure I trusted the process. Happy to say the shave was amazing and NO CUTS!!!! A must for anyone who is scared and is just getting started.
