If it's an imitation, then they TOTALLY nailied it with this one
For an imitation or re-make, this is AWESOME. I've had it for a couple of months now and it has totally held up its appearance quality. Came perfectly packaged, so I was really impressed with that. Honestly, this was a heck of a deal for that quality and that price. LOVE IT!

My only regret is that I now cannot justify buying a real, vintage Eames when I can buy 5 of these for the price!

Very nice! Thought it would look cheap but it was beyond my expectations!

3 1/2 stars, Look great, comfy, but not adjustable
Great looking, comfortable but not adjustable, permanent tilt. Relaxing, but sometimes need a small pillow to give low back support. Leather is beautiful, soft and supple, easy to clean. We were spoiled by previously owning a true replica Eames chair but the complex mechanism finally broke. At 5.6' and 5.10', these suit but taller folks would feel they are set too low. Also, getting up out of them will give your hamstrings a good workout.

Disassembled and with wrong parts
I just received the chair. It has some roughing of the packaging but seems to be ok inside. The chair is completely Un assembled. The bolts for the gliding feet of the chair and ottoman are wrong. They don't match. Just wrote to Amazon and seller and will follow on their response. For 800$ you'd expect at least the right parts....

Love this chair in all ways but one
Love this chair in all ways but one. Like some others, I found one pre drilled hole not done correctly,so the screw will not go in fully. It sticks out over 1/8 in. Rather infuriating for such a great piece! I'm not sending it back or taking it to a shop to be retooled but am hoping no one notices. Grrrr. Otherwise the leather and veneered wood are as nice as my family's original Eames from the late '60's.
