From a man's perspective, these are very useful for sweaters and your nicer T-shirts, coats and jackets. Not good for suits, obviously, because there is no trouser rung. From the lady's perspective they have a nice notch for hanging string strap dresses and tops, but that's a bit of a waste of space, since normal plastics can be used for that. These are made expressly for items that are prone to shoulder bumps or slipping off of normal hangers.Also quite obviously, they are thicker and space out wide on your closet space, so you can't cram 3X as many thin plastic hangers in there. You aren't going to be able to remove an item without pulling the hanger out... I mean you can't grab the shoulder of a sweater or T and expect to yank it off the hanger, because there are sawtooth grips on the top side to prevent sliding.I hang most of my nicer T-shirts and this prevents the "angel wings" on top of the shoulders that are left by normal plastic hangers and (ugh) wire hangers. But they cut the number of shirts you can hang in your closet by a factor of 3, so bear that in mind.Sturdy enough for reasonably heavy items but you might consider ordering the wider ones (box of 20) for your trenchcoats or leather jackets.

Excellent for the price and if you are getting these for mens shirts that have been laundered they are perfect. I purchased an additional 30. Wife is not a fan she wants the heavy wooden ones.That being said, there are some drawbacks some will find intolerable.First, they are light, the hanger does not swivel as it is manually screwed in. It will turn but it does not swivel. The hanger is hollow and it is the type of plastic that would melt easily but I cannot really see a reason it would be that close to fire or heat; but if you hang you clothes over a furnace or something this is not for you. the strap notches on the arms is rounded and does not retain the straps if moved quickly. The ribs are of the same slick plastic and are not rubberized and therefor doesn't help very much and is ore for decoration.

These hangers are great for me. They are packaged well and easy to assemble. I wanted them for hanging heavier garments to dry and they work fine for that. They are about as large as my other hangers but not large enough for men's suits probably. I take a size 0 or 2 and they work well and are wide enough that they don't leave a hanger bulge as the garment dries.

These are NOT large enough, for adult clothing. They are only large enough to be appropriate, for children's clothing. I also noticed the Product Dimensions are no longer listed as 18 x 9.5 x 2 inches...the dimensions, upon which I based my order decision.

I'm a male medium. I wear a 38 jacket. These hangers are just small by that standard. I use them for my kids' clothes so it's not a total loss but my clothes practically fall off. I certainly don't have any suits that would hang on them without seriously wrecking the shoulders. Not-so-great.

The hangers are slightly smaller than advertised, however they are quality made for being plastic as there are no rough edges and the hangers are very sturdy. The only issue I have is the 'non-slip' feature which appears in pictures to be soft rubber to help grip clothes is actually just for show. Rather it's simply part of the one-piece hanger construction and therefore has no gripping properties whatsoever. Disappointing....could have been 5-stars.

I got these hangers to replace the mess of misc. hangers I had in my coat closet.I'm pleased with the quality. The hooks were easy to screw in. Now when companyuses my coat closet it looks much neater.

So far so good. You do have to screw in the metal hook part to the plastic part.

The hangers were too narrow for my jackets. I'm 6'2" and 200lbs. Other than that, they were fine.
