Surprisingly Cool and Comfortable – A Game-Changer for Hot Weather Golf
If you’ve ever played a summer round where it felt like your hands were melting into the grips, you know the value of a good hot-weather golf glove. The FootJoy Men’s TropiCool has quickly become my go-to for warm, humid days on the course—and it absolutely lives up to its name.I picked this up looking for something lightweight that wouldn’t get soggy or slippery after a few holes. FootJoy is a brand I’ve always trusted for golf gear, and the TropiCool line caught my eye for its breathable design and focus on moisture control. From the moment I tried it on, I could feel the difference.Right out of the package, the glove felt incredibly light and flexible. The fabric has a soft, almost mesh-like texture that contours well to your hand without any stiffness or restriction. The fit is snug but not tight, and the Medium/Large size was just right for my hand shape—no bunching in the palm or fingers.Where this glove really shines is in the breathability. Even during mid-afternoon rounds in 90-degree heat, my hand stayed cool and dry. The moisture-wicking material works exactly as promised. No more peeling a sweat-soaked glove off after the front nine. It also maintains a good grip even in humid conditions—there’s a confident feel on every swing, without the slippery, damp sensation I’ve had with other gloves. After several rounds, it’s held up nicely. The stitching remains intact, and it hasn’t lost shape or elasticity, which is impressive for a glove this lightweight. It also washes and dries well without stiffening.Pros:Exceptionally breathable and moisture-wicking for hot weatherLightweight material feels soft and contours well to the handProvides a consistent, non-slip grip in humid conditionsHolds its shape and fit after multiple usesStylish, clean look with the FootJoy brandingIf you play in warm or humid climates, the FootJoy TropiCool Glove is a must-have. It’s comfortable, durable, and keeps your grip dry even on the hottest days. Easily one of the best warm-weather golf gloves I’ve tried, and worth every penny for the added comfort and control.

Great glove for HOT, Humid weather.
Great glove for HOT weather. Yes there are amazing leather gloves out there but in the summer you need to rotate to a new dry glove. For hot weather Humid (FL) the Tropicool is manufactured with more synthetics and cloth, feels great, by far much cooler, and the best thing about the glove which counters the worst thing. The gripping material some sort of leather type synthetic, gets dirty very quickly. But the savings grace. You can take these gloves and put them in a net bag and wash them with your whites with some bleach. Take them out and put them in the dryer or let them air dry, and it's like putting on a new glove. I hope no one from FootJoy reads this because they'll stop making them. :), I highly recommend you try one if you play in hot humid weather and find that you need to change gloves because of wetness.

Excellent glove, great durability and grip.
These are the best golf gloves I've ever had! They're incredibly durable, and the grip feels very secure. I've played with one glove weekly for a year and they're still usable, just some wear on the seams around the thumb. I alternate between these and the FJ rain gloves and haven't felt the need to use a leather glove since.

Great in heat & humidity
Performs better than most, including other FJ gloves. Heat and humidity for me means sweaty hands. I normally use FJ Weathersof as my go to and have for years. Tried this Tropicool glove (first time) for a quick golf trip from Dallas to Corpus Christi over long Labor Day weekend. Day 1 went thru 2 Weathersofs (soaking wet).Pulled out the new Tropicool on Day 2. Performance: Great, and only glove used days 2-3. It is very light and airy, and seems to stay fairly dry in some miserable conditions. It was very hot and very lite winds.Looks like I've been doing handstands on blacktop pavement. They got really dirty just from normal usage. Have not tried hand washing yet, but maybe I will. I like the glove for those kind of days..

Beats Texas Heat/Humidity
Only glove i wear for Texas gulf coast humidity. They get dirty very easily, but small price to pay for comfort and durability. The knuckles are usually first thing to go after about 10 rounds.

Great value on a very good glove.
a college golfer working in the Pro Shop recommended this golf glove, and it was a great recommendation. It has great feel and lasts much longer than Cabretta at a very reasonable price. It can discolor from your grips, but that does not affect usability. I order a half dozen at a time and I'm pretty much good for the season.

Great for humid climates
Great in hot and humid climates. Doesn’t offer much protection if you have sensitive hands though. However, these last forever. My first one lasted until I lost it.

Decent Glove, But Could Be Better
The FootJoy Tropicool Golf Glove is a lightweight and breathable option for warm weather. The moisture-wicking material helps keep hands dry, and the grip is decent, providing reasonable control during swings. However, the durability is a bit lacking—it wears out quicker than expected, especially with frequent use. The fit is comfortable, but after a few rounds, it starts to lose its shape.Overall, it’s a good glove for hot conditions, but for the price, I expected better longevity. Decent, but not my top choice.
