I wish it was longer but other than that it's a nice scarf I used mine for a head wrap!

This is the second ETSY scarf I have ordered. I use them to tie my hair at night. I decided to order the green peony and to give this company a second chance. This scarf didn't stain my pillow and when I hand washed it, the color didn't run at all. But after having this for about a week, the edges are already starting to run a little (see picture).I first ordered the pink/blue/green flowery scarf. When I got it, I was impressed with how pretty it was and the colors were vibrant and bright. But the color came off on my pillow and when I hand washed it, a lot of die came out no matter how long I rinsed it. It kept staining my pillow even after washing it. I put it in a delicates laundry bag in the washing machine and it practically came apart. The colors completely faded and the edges started unraveling. I'm still using it as a head scarf, but was expecting a lot better quality.I like the green peony scarf, but was hoping it would remain in better quality for longer since it hasn't gone through the washing machine.

I bought this scarf because I have curly hair, and recently I have read that sleeping with a silk scarf on your hair helps reduce frizz and improves the overall look of curls. As a curly girl who has struggled with frizz her whole life, I figured at this price point, it was worth a shot. I am happy to say I have not been disappointed. I noticed a marked difference between sleeping without anything on my head and with the silk scarf on. For example, on Sundays I traditionally do my best styling for the first half of the week (I only wash my hair every few days or my curls get brittle and flat) because I have the most time. I dry my hair with a diffuser mid-day after letting the curls set in a long-sleeve tee on my head. I get voluminous, bouncy curls this way, but if I don't preserve them, all that hard work is for naught. After my hair is set and dry, I wrap these bad boys up in this scarf for the remainder of the night and, come morning, I just need a good fluff at the roots with my fingers, and everything looks as good as the day before.The nice thing about the satin is, not only is a soft and comfortable around the head, it's never hot. Towels and tee-shirts get hot on the head, but I never notice the silk on unless I tie it too tight. By the way, not only is this scarf pretty, it's also huge. It easily covers my mass of curls (and while my hair is only to my shoulders, it's THICK) with room to spare. I imagine most women could be accommodated by this scarf unless their hair is really long.Sure, I feel like a 1950s housewife going to bed at night, but sometimes are forebears got it right. Sleeping in silk is the way to go for pretty, frizz-free tresses.

This is a really beautiful, well-made product. I tend to try to avoid purchasing China-made or other foreign-made products just because of the terrible labor conditions and poor pay these workers receive, however, this product is silk and I feel like silk products are a pride for China since the silk worms are native here and they have been producing raw silk for the last 5000 years in China. Anyway, I'm digressing. This scarf is really beautiful, large, easy to use as a scarf, as a bag, as a head wrap or band, as a shawl. It has so many uses! You can easily look up ways to fold it into a million uses.

Colors look slightly faded, not as bright/contrast as shown. The back side of the scarf is a lot lighter than front (see pics). Small while line print defect was found across whole scarf. Doesn’t feel very silky and delicate, but it probably does make sense if you buy lower cost (and quality) silk. So my advise is to go with higher cost and quality if you are after actual silk, or to buy polyester scarf which can be quite reasonable alternative to more expensive silk if you are not ready to pay higher cost.I am keeping it. Pretty sure I’ll find some use for it.But it is unlikely that I will buy this product again.

This scarf is wonderful. The Ivory color and design looks exquisite. It's not long enough to do some of the scarf designs from videos I watched. I managed to make it look like a peony flower in the center or a little bit off the center. It's great for protecting hair from the wind and special occasions like at a party.When it comes to styling hair, I tend to make alternatives like wearing snoods and silk scarfs. On Steph Arizona's Hair Growth Journey video, she stated that silk scarves are delicate to hair. I just bought the same thing in Red Cashew Pattern. I'm not going through Chemotherapy or suffering from cancer well enough to lose hair and hide the fact I might be balding.

I wasn't sure if this was real silk;I found out when I mistakenly burned it by leaning over a candle. I use the scarf to wrap my hair when it's in protective styles. In order to avoid it slippage, I wrap it around my head then, back to front, twist the ties around one another, then knot the two ties behind my head.It's a pretty design, too. I wash it using mild shampoo, but my hair oil has yellowed the fabric.

This is gorgeous! Very true to photograph color. No complaints at all. To the contrary, when I received my order, I erroneously received two of them. When I contacted Amazon to alert them of this mistake, they allowed me to keep the extra scarf, free of charge. I wholeheartedly appreciate their service and also their kind gesture. I have ordered a few of these scarves over the years and they all have been beautiful. You will love your purchase! I recommend this scarf!
