The top on this model opens 180°. That translates to easier lighting of objects. Would be five stars if it had battery life indicator and larger hotspot. I use this mainly for melting the ends of paracord, so it is just big enough for me. Looking like a Zippo doesn't hurt, either. Oh, and don't touch the pretty bright plasmas. Shock the shot out of you if given half a chance. Ask me how I know.

I really bought this for a friend who smokes. She has psoriasis bad on her hands, wears gloves a lot. I saw her struggling with a standard bic lighter.Happened to run across these later that same day.First I was impressed by the low price.I liked the light that activates when the cover is closed.I liked that it only took light pressure on the button to make it fire up.My friend is totally thrilled. Since getting it I have not seen her use any other lighter period.I bought 2 because the price was low and they offered a discount for buying two.It feels solid, well built. For the price it is a cool piece of kit that will start a fire in any conditions.No fuel required is just a nice bonus. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.The Company also has a triple head with more options for lighting pipes, cigars, etc. Also reasonably priced.

Is it functional? Yes.Waterproof? No clue.It's a light with a lighter. The perfect answer to, "You got a light?"I have a 4-prong rechargeable lighter already. But my experience is, they break. So I was looking for a backup. This became that backup.I've got a lot of the little LED 18650 flashlights around the house, so I really didn't need another flashlight. But, I didn't have a rechargeable one.This product keeps it's charge a good long time by caparison to my 18650s. Plus, it's got a place for wearing on a lanyard. Just throw away the cheap loopy thing that comes with the product, it's useless. Instead, get yourself a nice lanyard.I hate that the only one available with both lights, was camo. I lose stuff quite often. A bright neon yellow would have been preferred. And I don't know if I would damage the product functionality if I spray painted it. Or I would.The 6 prongs work great. The flashlight works great. Everything works great. I just hate the color. So now I have a bright colored lanyard on it. Meh, I guess it's almost as good as painting it.

Nice lighter but did not last more than a month. The Seller claims there is 1 year warranty on battery if registered on website. The website does NOT exist! Very misleading advertising.

Let me start by saying this is my first review EVER! I bought this for my boyfriend because he's a big time outdoors man and it's so convenient to use weather we're out on the boat or sitting by the campfire, this thing never disappoints!!! I love that it has a bright flashlight on it also, very awesome bonus!!! I promise if your considering purchasing one you won't be disappointed!!!

It does exactly what it's supposed to in a small, light package.

Battery Life is s@#$t. Gets Hot and you have to constantly charge it. Delivery was on time , very elegantly designed but battery life is well you know....

I recently have had major issues with my hands (disabled) and have not been able to use regular lighters at all. My husband ordered these and they have been a game changer! It might not seem like much but, any added independence can be a huge thing.They light very well. Bonus, NO fuel taste! Smoke flavor is much cleaner.1 charge lasted all day and a full recharge took about 15 minutes.

Really cool how it looks like a jet turbine but I'm pretty sure ud be lucky to last more then a day it doesn't seem to last to long I charged it to full and it's lasted about an hour and it's halfway so if u want 1 to last a day I suggest u get another 1 this is super cool jet turbine on it for rocks type thing tho it's worth the price just to show off
