EC90 3K Matte Full Carbon Seatpost Seat Tube MTB Road Bicycle Setback Seatpost (25.4 x 400mm)

After about a 100 miles it cracked while riding on flat street. About an inch and a half above collar. Would not buy again, you get what you pay for.Always kept indoors and used on smooth streets. I’m about 200lbs but never had trouble with carbon posts before.

This weak plastic pole is everything you don't want in a seat post. I'm 185 pounds and had the pole inserted correctly. I've ridden less than 5 miles with this seatpost and it snapped causing me to fall on my a55 while riding in the street (ha ha).I've written very few reviews and I think this may be my first negative review.I wouldn't even trust this seat with a child. I mostly stand and pedal. If my 8 year old was into hopping off ramps or riding hard like kids do...it's only a matter of time. A 60 pound kid throwing his weight around is more intense than my periodic a55 taps.I thought when it broke...'well you get what you pay for..' but let's be real...this thin plastic with fiber glass reinforcement probably cost under $2 bucks to make. I've spent time crafting speaker boxes using fiber glass alone and you can definitely make something strong enough to stand on but this isn't that. This is thin layers of plastic...almost like plywood. You can see the thread of what looks like a single sheet of fiber glass but it's as thin as the butter you spread on bread. Literally.Imagine if you're the unlucky one who gets a jagged plastic tube shoved up your a55. Really....really imagine it.WORST. SEATPOST. EVER

Significantly lighter than the aluminum alloy post that came with the bike. I haven't been able to tell the amount of flex that it offers

Here's a picture of this CF seatpost labeled 25.4mm but clearly measures 27.0mm in diameter. Unacceptable and useless. And if think my calipers are off, here's another picture of the factory seatpost correctly measuring 25.4mm. What more do I need to say?

This works for my needs and I'm happy with it so far. Nice and light and the sizing was correct, can't ask for much more.
