These trains are good solid quality, like official Brio trains. They don't feel cheap or light, and they seem to be well built. They have a good quality paint job that does indeed accurately replicate the Boston T. They are flawlessly compatible with Brio trains and Thomas trains. While they are a little expensive, I found them well worth the price given their quality, realism, and compatibility.I'm very happy with this product and I look forwards to adding them to the elaborate train lines that I build with my kids & nephews.
