Strong D Ring
Very well built D-Ring with oversized backplate allowing multiple placement options and galvanized 3/8" carriage bolt hardware. Highly recommend.

Easy install and good looking tie downs.
Use a 3.5 inch hole saw or draw a template and use a jigsaw to fit these in your floor. I had my brother under my trailer after I drilled out the holes and he was able to mount these up using an impact driver. I like the fold down design and I can roll over them easily when In my wheelchair. 6000 lbs capacity makes these beefier than the trailer they are mounted on.

Works well
These are sturdy and well built. I used a 3.25” hole saw and then just filed the wider edges for a tighter fit.

Easy install with basic tools
Awesome items. I love these tie downs. Install was relatively easy. 1 word of advice, drill your main hole, then set down tie down and drill 1 hole and insert a bolt into that hole, drill another hole and insert bolt into that hole, drill 3rd hole and insert bolt into that hole and drill the last hole and put the bolt into that. I didnt do it this way until the last 2 and had to fight the bolts to line up with the plate underneath but they worked no problems. Decent quality and such. We will see how they told up to a winter in Chicago tho. Overall well worth the money.

Do not install per manufactures recommendation
These seem like sturdy anchors. I did not install them as recommended as that would take a lot of the strength out of the wood. The manufacturer recommends drilling a 3-1/2" hole through the deck. Doing it this way does not leave much deck material left as the bolt holes would only be about 1/4" inch away from the main hole thus weakening the whole assembly. What I did was router a 3-1/2" circle down to the depth where the assembly will sit flush to the deck. This ended up being roughly 7/8" deep. I then drilled a small hole (1/2") in the center of the 3-1/2" circle so if any water runoff were able to get under the tie down it would drain out and not rot the wood.If you do not have a router, you can still accomplish this by just drilling down 7/8 of an inch with a Hole Saw bit and then tapping out the circle of wood with a wood chisel.I have hauled a Polaris Side by Side ATV several hundred mike with no issues. No matter how you install them, make sure to inspect them periodically for loose bolts or material cracking.

Sturdy with Good Hardware
I installed on a 14’ trailer in the treated 2x6 deck. Bolts were perfect length. Most difficult part was to find a way to recess topside mounting point. After using only a chisel for the first one, I found using a 1” wood spade drill bit was the best way to remove wood from my marked out area. The remaining 3 were installed fairly quickly and painless. These seem to be very solid with good quality hardware. I will say 6,000 lb rating seems a bit overstated unless you mount/weld these directly to steel supports. I may add some angle iron or thicker plates on the bottom side if they start to pull through my wood trailer deck. I would buy again.

HD flush mount D-ring set.
Excellent quality, did not cut large holes as we wanted a tight fit, this method took more time to install, but worked out very well. Excellent value!

Good package deal
Quality product. Installed them in my new 6 x 12 enclosed utility trailer.Installation tips: I planned to use the backing plate as a template along with my router and template bit, but I didn't have enough clearance from the trailer side. If you plan to move the D-rings in a little bit from the trailer sides then the router could be an option, otherwise, plan on using a Hole saw, which is what I ended up using. After the center hole was drilled I used the backing plate as a template and drilled out the 4 holes for the bolts. Make sure you orient the backing plate correctly before drilling the bolt holes, otherwise the bolt holes will not line up. If you put the 2 pieces together and rotate one or the other you'll see what I'm talking about. Everything else is pretty straight forward.
