Firstly, you should know that the vendor offers a free tablet stand or case ("free gift") if you send them the link to your review. They encourage that you also post pictures. Obviously, this leads to premature and unrealistically positive reviews.Here's the truth after two days. I'm about to return this as "defective":- No 5G- USB charges unnormally slow. Tablet will die if you use it while plugin (i.e. watching a movie)- Bluetooth problem: Doesn't automatically reconnect. After the intitial pairing, you have to reset your connections (including Wi-Fi) EVERY SINGLE TIME which is an even bigger problem because:- horrible sound. Hardly usable without externall speaker (see Bluetooth problem.)I feel tricked by 5-star reviews that might have been encouraged by offering a free $20 item.I don't buy stuff to return it. I buy it to keep it.Sadly, this tablet is a zero.

I bought this tablet coz I was tired of using my phone as my computer. I did quite a bit of research and was gonna get the Samsung A10 and then I saw this beauty, accidently btw. And after reading the specs and customer reviews, I decided to take a chance on it and boy am I glad I did. The screen resolution is awesome and it's a lot bigger than I thought it would be.... Bonus!! The only thing I can say negative is the sound quality with the plug in Jack. It's not very loud as one would think but other than that, it's a great tablet for a great price. Thx Vankyo.

bought this because i dont have a smart phone and everyone and their brother wants you to use an android app or apple app; used it to redeem a digital movie and to setup a weather clock; comes with a choice of free gifts but tablet wouldnt scan the the code; other than that, i'm impressed so far with it; i use an amazon fire for reading books, but no apps found to use on that for what i neededi am increasingly happy with this tablet; i have had around 20 tablets over the years and this one tops them all (most of them broke after dropping them on the floor); the speed of start up is one of the best

I received the tablet and charged it fully and began downloading apps but I noticed the screen wasn't as bright as my cellphone which is a Samsung Galaxy S7. So for comparison, I set my phone screen to 50% brightness and turned up the brightness on the Vankyo Matrix Pad Z4 until it was the same brightness as my phone. I had to turn up the brightness to 98% to be the same brightness as my phone. I took a picture of this and sent it to their support contact and didn't hear anything until the second day in which they said they would send the information on to their tech department. The reason I didn't want to keep it was because brightness tends to diminish over time and if I have to turn it up to 98% brand new I knew it wouldn't be long before I'd have to turn it up to 100% to be the same brightness. By the time they responded I told them never mind because I went ahead and ordered a Samsung Tab A 10.1 128 GB to replace it. The other thing that influenced my decision was that you didn't have the option to move apps from the internal memory to the SD card like you can on the Samsung. If you want an inexpensive tablet and don't care about the screen brightness and the ability to move the apps to the SD card that much then I guess it would be okay. If you do care about these things and can afford it, I would suggest spending more and getting a name brand like I did.

My expectations were not all that high since this is not a pricey item and I don't need or want a lot of bells and whistles that many users do ,but it failed to meet even low expectations.The screen fades, then comes back, then fades to a sort of grid-like design, then comes back. Gets light, gets darker all on it's own. I don't think it's broken. I think it's the quality of the build.Also, the touch screen responds inconsistently and I don't think that was me.This would maybe be a good starter for a first-time user but that's the best I can recommend it for.

I wish I could say that we haven't had any issues with this tablet. I purchased this item Jan 31st, 2020. At first, I was pleased with how well the tablet was working. Then, I started to notice a little bit of network connectivity issues after a short time. It is now December 2020 and I wish I would have spent more money for the better tablet. This tablet is constantly not wanting to connect to our network. I have to go in to setting and "forget" our home network, turn off the tablet, turn off the modem and router, then turn everything back on before the tablet will reconnect. That used to be less often than it does now. Currently, it keeps powering off right after my daughter puts her passcode in to get to her home screen, which is not the first time it has done this either. I'm ready to pitch it a wood chipper at this point, out of the frustration from how frequently this has been happening lately. This is the only device in my house that behaves this way. Not a single one of our other devices disables the network the way this tablet does. My daughter uses this device for games, Youtube, and sometimes Netflix.

Wanted a tablet but didn't want to spend a lot. This tablet does not disappoint. It does everything I need, internet browsing, movies, games. I haven't noticed any buffering or sluggishness at all. Came packaged nicely - like you would expect from a high-dollar tech item. Not super impressed with the volume but I love this thing any way and it easily handles my everyday needs. Also want to give a shout out to their incredible customer service team. I had a problem with my tablet (totally my fault) and they worked with me immediately to resolve the issue. First class customer service and an excellent valued product. This would be great for kids.
