Works well for elementary school fingers. Lightweight, easy to use to properly position fingers for proper pencil grip. Fits just about any standard pencil easily. The "baskets" are oriented to the front of the pencil when used. During covid, students weren't in class to be taught the proper way to hold a pencil for efficient, controlled writing. As a consequence, I see the many creative and various tortured ways students are unsuccessfully trying to hold a pencil. For them, writing is a hated, incredibly inefficient, laborious task! Without being taught how to properly hold a pencil (and form the letters and numbers correctly, but don't get me started on that!), I absolutely cannot imagine how these 3rd grade students will make it through the coming years where filling out longer and more detailed answers on worksheets will be just a matter of fact. Not everything will be done on a computer so learning to properly hold a pencil and write is essential.PARENTS: take a minute to observe your elementary students to see how they hold the pencil and how they form their letters and numbers today! If you're as tortured watching your student struggle as I am, then GET THESE GRIPS and HELP THEM while there's still time to correct their grip for more efficient writing. Easy for the student to use and with enough practice, these grips will build the muscle memory quickly to the point where these grips will have served their purpose. There are many grip assistance devices out there, and if your child doesn't gravitate to this particular style, then look for one they do like.

My son fought using this until he got the hang of it. Only took a few weeks and he doesn’t need it anymore. Really helpful learning tool.

My son hates these with a passion HOWEVER, it is not for him to like but to have better penmanship and to hold the pencil correctly.The rubber feels so odd on his hands and once it's "in" it's the biggest hassle if you have to erase...😫😫

Super helpful for students that struggle with pencil grip.

A well laid out method. I like the book very much and my grandkids like it as well. They stay engaged. I gave it 3, instead of 5 stars because the handwriting letters look to be a more European style rather than American. Kids like it, though. We changed some letters to conform to American handwriting style, but when you do that, it makes it a bit confusing for the kids.

I used these last year and again this year to help my preschoolers hold a pencil correctly. They are great. I send one home and keep them in the classroom also.

We bought these at the recommendation of our teacher, and they do not disappoint. Easy to use and even our tough little boy hasn't destroyed them yet!

These are easy to put on your pencil and help reinforce how your child should hold the pencil. They fit a child's fingers well. My son was comfortable using them and they served their purpose. They come in a variety of bright colours and I would recommend them.

I recommended these to my S-I-L for my nephew as we found them to be better than the ones we have from mastermind.The holes take the guesswork out since there's really only one way to hold it.Good value. I was looking for grips for my teenager to correct her pen holding and these were advertised for adults. They are definitely not made for adult size hands. They’re made for little kids. The holes are very small. My kid has very slender fingers so was able to squeeze in but really made for little hands. These would be great for little kids.
