I'm a gadget lover and really wanted this to work! The padlock looked really neat when installed on my gym locker!The first problem is the instruction leaflet. Admittedly, the pages are small but each page is only half-covered with text of the tiniest font. No diagrams but YouTube video help me set the device up and I completed a set of scans for the thumb, index and middle finger of each hand. Each digit is scanned 10 times creating and storing 60 sets of fingerprints.What could possibly go wrong?Following a 45-minute swim and a 15-minute sauna, I returned to the locker only to find that I couldn't open it. It took approximately 15 attempts. My fingers were dry, though my palms were beginning to sweat a bit at this stage! I'm not sure whether my fingerprints were affected by the prolonged exposure to water.My original plan was to rescan my fingers but I found that after a couple of hours my original set of fingerprints were recognised again. In the end, I decided to give it the two fingers and send this badlock back!PS Despite what the headline says, I don't have big thumbs!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Very handy padlock, no need to search for keys or worry about loosing them.Really easy to setup, very accurate, I have setup only one fingerprint and tested with multiple other fingers and only one can unlock.Battery life seems to be pretty descent I haven’t charge it since I received it.Also feels strong, not easy to be smashed opened.

Got this fingerprint padlock for gym, me and my mates are going gym often for swimming, but not really convenient to carry with key, so fingerprint lock sounds great for me, and honestly it is not hard to setup, but only thing is don’t let ur kids play it, bcoz the lock can save more than 2 fingerprint, I think maximum about 10, that’s I think a bit annoyed. Anyway, u need to put ur finger is just right position otherwise u even stored ur fingerprint u still won’t open it. A bit complicated but if u handle it well, it is still good product

UPDATE 1/10/20 - My first one died. My second one has now died. I love the concept of this product, but it is too unreliable. I have tried charging it whilst on the gate, but there's no life from it at all. I'm now stuck not being able to get out of my garden until I can get some bolt cutters. Afraid I really can't recommend this product at all.My first one died on me - luckily not whilst it was attached to my gate! The company sent me a replacement very quickly, and provided great customer service.Battery life is great, and it stands up to the elements outside. I don't find that it 'remembers' my fingerprints after a while very well. I generally find that each time I charge it, I re-do my fingerprints, as it has become less reliable at responding to them - after doing so, it's brilliant as well.I really do love it, just wish it was a little more reliable. Due to that, I'd recommend putting a lot of your fingerprints into it, so that if it doesn't respond to one, you've still got a choice of others to use!

I had a few minor issues in setting up maybe that was just me i read instructions but what really helped greatly was the video if i was u forget the instructions go directly to video made it look easy and thats how i managed to set the padlock up i wanted all 8 fingers and 2 thumbs of mine registered but only managed 9 was not able to setup my left hand pinky finger now the frustrating annoying thing is u must remember at what angle u setup your finger u have got to get it spot on otherwise red red red what difference does it make abt the angle my fingerprint is unique to me so it should know its me and not somebody else i do like this concept though i hate the charging port's rubber cover its very difficult to remove with your finger and when u have removed it it has a nasty habit of sort of automatically closing again u need something like a pen or a cocktail stick to open it i can see myself getting angry with this and i'll probably end up ripping it off allowing the usb charging port to be free and open don't know whether thats a good thing or bad

Open padlock with any finger ... Keep on the sensor until it flashes blue2. Register finger multiple times July moving it around sensor.3. To delete or reset padlock put registered finger in for approx 10 seconds until it flashes redSimple padlock that you no longer need to worry about a key!

So far I am very impressed with the quality and function of this lock it arrived promptly and the instructions were easy to follow in plain English.I am amazed with the safety and convenience this padlock offers the user I personally wanted to get rid off keys if you lose them then you are in a trouble.It’s lightweight and durable because I have the option of saving up to you 10 fingerprints, I can give other people access to it as well.So this will make it great for the family to use overall I am very impressed with this padlock and based on my experiences I would definitely recommend it.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Great lock. Had no idea the fingerprint locks existed but found it on amazon. It connects up to 10 different finger prints and is quick to charge. Feels really premium and is very good if u keep losing small keys like I do
