I have two older dogs that l love, 8 and 9 years old. They each have mild teeth issues; one has a few subfractures that gather plaque quickly and another dog with particularly terrible breath who just collects tartar faster than normal. Both used to get dentals at the vet every year or two, but this is an expensive procedure for two dogs and I’d rather not have them under anesthesia for regular cleanings if I can maintain it myself. I had tried treats, water additives and a couple other things but quickly found that nothing beats a daily toothbrush for best results. After their most recent dentals (now three years ago) I have been brushing my dogs’ teeth every day. I start scrubbing every morning after they first go outside and it has been working very well as a routine. This Kissable toothpaste taste is what I would consider a perfect compromise. I don't love the meat flavored toothpaste because their breath smells like old beef and the mint flavored pastes are my clearly not my dogs' favorite. This flavor is vanilla and tea tree; smells great to me and tastes like human food to them. This brand also specifically uses Stevia and not sugar as the sweetener so your pets have no glycemic changes from this toothpaste.

My dog seems to like the flavor and tolerates my brushing his teeth when I use this and one of those silicone baby toothbrushes that look like a thimble. I like it because it freshens his breath (i.e. it's not meat scented/flavored) AND it really works. I wish I had before and after pictures. My pup had noticeable, brown tartar on some teeth because his baby canines would not fall out, so he had double fangs everywhere and the close proximity between them meant tartar built up easily. I had the baby teeth extracted in the summer but the tartar was still there on the adult teeth. Recently I've been brushing his teeth every day.... and today I checked and saw all the brown was gone!

We have used this toothpaste for our 2 labs just about since we got them 3 years ago, and it does a great job. It smells very fresh and clean, not like toothpaste. The dogs love the taste, if not getting a toothbrush shoved in their mouth.At a recent checkup with a new vet, she was very impressed with their dental health at 9 years old, and asked us how we kept their teeth in such great shape. No tartar buildup or anything. We brush about once a week, sometimes a bit less if we are very busy.One star off as I feel that the freshness doesn't last as long as it has in the past, however, I will absolutely keep with this paste given the vet's comments. Just need to brush more often!

I've used this for my dogs' teeth once, and then decided to look up tea tree oil for pets. It's very toxic when ingested, and I've just called our veterinarian to confirm that. Even a very small amount can make them very ill! I DO NOT recommend. I prefer the mint for them, but honestly I'll put up with the poultry or beef toothpaste from now on.

This toothpaste is one of the few that smells good, and both of my dogs like.Previously I had been using CET's poultry flavored toothpaste, which my dogs loved the taste of, but the price kept going up. I tried two other cheap brands of toothpaste and they both smelled bad and the dogs didn't exactly enjoy them.KissAble toothpaste is different, however. Both my Wheaten Terrier and Italian Greyhound love the taste! I also love the way it smells. It's very minty. It goes on smoothly and a little goes a long way. My pets' teeth look clean, and it keeps their breath from smelling bad.All in all... a great doggie toothpaste!

This toothpaste smells great, but unfortunately my dog wouldn't have it. She loves when I brush with peanut butter, but wouldn't take the sweet smelling toothpaste....if your dog will accept it though, it would definitely have a more pleasant smell!

This toothpaste is amazing! Our dog kept pushing out the other toothpaste with her tongue, I was under the assumption that she liked the taste of it and that's why so much tongue. I was getting aggravated because no matter how often I brushed her teeth she was accumulating decay. I bought this one and WOW! No more pushing with her tongue, she loves the taste of this vanilla. The plus is No More Plaque, I can even skip a day here or there and no buildup. I was so impressed with this toothpaste I went and reordered three more, for fear I never find it again for some reason. This product is so worth trying out and you'll see what I mean,

Not sure if my dog likes it but for sure doesn't hate it. Yay! and that's huge for me :)I want my dog to be comfortable, he lets me brush his teeth just fine, doesn't growl.... nothinghe actually licks it off his teeth right away at the beginning of brushing.I like the fact that it tastes minty but not too strong so my dog can have fresh breath and clean teeth
