After randomly finding a scratch on the back of my Switch (not sure how it got there bc it sits in its carrying case at all times when not being used), I wanted a hardshell case for protection asap. I was turned off by other cases on the market, however, that had separate covers for the joycons—something you'd have to remove every time you wanted to slip the joycons into the controller grip. (I also didn't like the idea of having to press deeper for buttons with joycon cases that wrapped all around.) When I saw this design, I was really intrigued and decided to give it a go. After using it for a couple weeks, I can say I am thoroughly satisfied! It's really easy to pop on and off (I kept putting it on and then taking it off until I got all the dust out from between the Switch and the shell haha). At first it's a little tight to slide the joycons into their positions, but then it becomes easier and smoother, while still fitting perfectly snugly. Plus, if you hate how the joycons wiggle against the Switch sometimes, then this case will really help with that! The thing I was most worried about was the Switch fitting into its dock with the case on. I also already had a tempered glass screen protector on, adding to the thickness of the switch. Once I got the hardshell on, I did the true test of sitting it in the dock. And it fit! Albeit, it is a very snug fit, but as long as you place it in (and take it out) slowly and steadily, there should be no problems. I didn't feel like I needed to force it or anything, I just had to guide it down attentively to make sure it sat right. For the simple but effective protection the case affords and the ease of getting the joycons in and out though, I don't think that is any major detractor to the overall product. Rather, I am glad it fits at all! Additionally, the simpleness of the case gives a very sleek look to the Switch, and the two little thumb stick pads included are cute. Overall, I am really liking this product.

Very glad I found this. Wanted something that minimalistic that would make my switch feel like one cohesive console. I was worried if bending the joy on rails when I played handheld and this added the sturdiness it needed. It feels great and safe to play in handheld mode now. It adds minor bulk. I like that it's transparent. The joy con's slide in and out easily, and it docks as well! IT DOCKS! ☺️ The screen protector was great! And the thumb grips are solid, loved them. I would add the screen protector if you're planning on docking because if you're not careful it may scratch your screen. Even though I find that my switch docks fine. It's a decent, snug, fit. Give it a try, it's a very decent price.

I wanted to find something to encapsulate my son's Switch when he plays with it out of the dock. This thing fit the bill. I love how its easy to snap on and off. The controllers slide in and out easily. I read some reviews of folks stating it was too tight but mine was snug but it was still easy for my 6yr old to remove the joy-cons. Also I love the fact it came with the screen protector. It easy to apply. Finally I love how I can leave everything attached and still dock it. Its snug but not tight to drop it in the dock. 5 stars from me for cost, functionality and durability.

It almseems like this product is a TINY bit too small, like less than a millimeter. The joy con's are difficult to slide on and off.This one fit fine on the classic Switch but i got a new Animal Crossing Switch and it wouldn't connect to the dock with this on even though it worked fine on the old switch.The grips are fine but a little thick for my taste. Screen protector was perfect.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE. They protect the game, are comfortable hold, and keep the removable controllers secure. Our last cases allowed them to wiggle forward and back and I felt like they’d snap off if we weren’t careful. This case keeps them secure and eliminates the bend while still allowing them to slide out easily. Docs smoothly without having to force it in. Let’s the stand pop out in back so you don’t have to take the case on and off ever if you don’t want. You can use the switch in any configuration with it in place no problem. I’m super happy with these. And the kids like them more, too.

THIS IS A NICE CASE! So I've had my fair share of cases, covers and switch protection and this has been the best one yet. So many of them mess with the controllers where this one makes it easy to slide them in and out and protects them and the switch when dropped ( I watch hulu on mine at the gym when I run so its had afew good jerks and hit the ground) its sturdy but not to overpowering. This case isnt dockable though so use a separate charger. It's good for on the go. Light and thin (see photos) The screen protector it came with is working great! My screen was scratching so it really needed one) just yes it's a good case give it a try!

Very easy to use and set up. Joy cons slide out easily, I use my switch docked for TV mostly, so it is easy to remove the joy cons to use with grip for this method. Docks in the switch dock easily, no fighting the docking station to get it to fit. Doesn’t add extra bulk to the switch, fits all the cases I have and I have the new slim ACNH leaf case. Clear plastic lets you see all the detail and color of your switch. Nice to have the glass screen protector included, thank you! Good purchase.

I love it ! I did not want a cover that would cover the special edition switch i have & this is perfect ! it fits perfectly. it docks perfectly. it is easy to remove. they give you all of the products needed for the case & screen protector. the thumb caps they send work GREAT! (i used some from a different pack i bought; they sent a blue and red one) all of the cutouts are perfect ! does not make it very bulky and heavy either ! in love.
