This should have never mentioned in the body of the description that it can be used as a mandolin stand. It’s decently sturdy, and pretty portable. I’ve not had any other stand, so I don’t have much to cross-reference, but for $10 I would recommend it. It folds easily (though a little hefty), and does it’s job for my ukulele well.

Love this stand for my concert ukulele. I have it setting on carpet in my bedroom and thought it might be wobbly and fall over. It is perfect.
