We really liked this present for our 1 year old who is VERY into music. We didn't expect out almost 5 year old to love it too, but he does. The mic amplifies whomever is speaking into it and it can make a horrible sound if pointed down at the drums. We just unplugged it when the 1 year old is playing with it.The drum sticks are plastic with Foam covers at the top. We pulled off the foam covers. They're glued on pretty tight, but we didn't want to risk our 1 year old chewing or eating the foam. (I could have done without the foam part). Sticks work just as well without them. We've only been using it 3 days and so far it's holding up quite nicely. It's already been dropped like 3 times and stepped on.Overall we are very happy with this purchase.

Great product, however, the cymbals come out leaving exposed wires accessible to the baby. Other than that, it’s great!

One of the cymbals stopped working after the first play with the toy... I suspect it may just be the wiring... It seems a bit delicate and I was a bit scared I'd break it, so may have happened because of me. Other than that it's a lovely toy. My niece enjoyed banging away on it and dancing to the tunes. Everyone wanted to play on it so I'd even get it for myself just to de-stress I love this toy... It's bright which really pulls your attention. The mic worked really well too. Sounds really good, we had our own little karaoke. The cord of the mic is long enough that you don't have to be bending right by the drums to sing. Main downside is that it doesn't support a power cable. That's the only thing I would change in the product, as I foresee the batteries needing to be replaced often. Packaging said you shouldn't use rechargeable batteries, which was kinda my plan with the product, so that was a bit disappointing. But all in all I still love the product and would recommend. I bought it for my nieces 1st birthday even thought it said 3 plus. So maybe she's too young for the mic but she loves the drums

I got this for my great grandson's 1st birthday and he LOVES it! He actually got 2 others of a different brand, which cost more, but this one is better and was cheaper. Couldn't ask for more!

My son is 17 months old and he like this set but its very easy to pull the cymbals out of the holes they are in which makes it very easy to break the wires that makes them work. He tends to pick them up by the cymbal since they stick up so this is a common problem. The first day one of the wires broke and now that cymbal doesn't light up. Another issue is that there is only one leg on the back of the set instead of two 😕. This makes a total of three legs and it's very unstable when he's playing with it. It constantly falls over. All of the features work well and the lights and music are fun. The problem is definitely part of the design.

Very colorful and choice of sounds varied which our grandson likes

I wasn’t thrilled about how loud you can turn up the volume on this, but my toddler loved it. Seems like a nice quality toy, the microphone worked very well also. Lots of different setting on the drum. Only issue was that the foam pieces on the end of the drumsticks were very poorly glued. We ended up having to glue them ourselves.

My 1 year grandson loves this toy. I am only giving it a four because the cymbals are not attached securely. They are fine when the kids are banging on them but don't grab the cymbals when you pick it up to put away. The stands and wire connection will come apart.

We got this for our son on his 1st birthday, the music part is ok, HOWEVER, this set is NOT designed for 1 year old for sure. The little orange foams for drum sticks set were poorly glued on and came out easily, that is CHOKING HAZARD. We had to take them away and throw . Also the parts are poorly connected that he pulls everything out so easily.We went to check the box , it shows for 3+ which I think it maybe ok for 3+, NOT for 1 yo as the title here.

I got this for my son for his first birthday. He loves banging on things. But soon as I opened it and put batteries in to turn it on, the left drum was stuck repeating the same sound and none of the other buttons worked. And because I got it early, by the time we got it open I missed the return window.Also, the little foam ends on the sticks come off fairly easily, so beware if like me you got it for your baby/toddler.
