J.D. has a vry simple way of showing how to perform a tie, it just flows. It doesn't matter if it is in a video or in stills, his movements are distinct and urposefull. Great job as always. First time using the kindel version and I am a fan.

If the Author is JD Lenzen, It will be a good book lots of following his photos for you to use. Just another great project book by JD? The beginner will find a place in the Paracord Projects Inspirations. I believe the advanced and intermediate will also find the book interesting also. There are lots of new knots to learn and new bracelets to make.

I bought this book for my 11 year old son. He loves it! He has blown through about 200 feet of paracord in less then a week making survival bracelets and selling them to all of his friends! The book did a good job of describing and illustrating the different projects. He did get very frustrated in the beginning at some of the directions because they were a little hard for him to follow. He has made a few notes in the book where he either thought there was a mistake or he needed better directions. We found though that if the text gets confusing, as of course it will when working with 4 different strands at a time, then default to the pictures. As long as your handiwork matches the picture, then you can kind of see where the next step goes. He's pretty much got it down though and doesn't need the book anymore for the basics. It served its purpose, and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn how to make a few different style bracelets and knots.

J.D. Lenzen always does a good job of illustrating his knotting projects. This is my fourth book by him and I recommend him highly. He's very creative, which is hard to find anymore in the knotting world. You can also go on YouTube and find his step by step knotting projects. I have 51 knotting books in my collection, so you know I like the subject.

After looking at the book, I think you can get it all for free from youtube. I bought this one and Paracord fusion ties and I still went to youtube for the actual instructions.

JD is the paracord guru. His books are easy to follow, and especially so accompanied with his YouTube videos. Yes, you can just follow his tutorials, but I like having a hard copy for when I am off the grid camping and have no Internet connection.

👍👍👍 -- I really like this book because the pictures are well laid out and every knot,twist,loop are well illustrated. The author makes it very simple to follow. All the pictures that are depicted are in color and the paracord colors he uses are bright pastel colors so each knot is easy to follow. I'd recommend this book for children and adults of all ages.

This was bought as a gift for my grand daughter, I thought it was such a good book that I order another copy.Easy to follow and great instructions.

cool book.also like the fact that they don't use buckles for these models.(adding one is easy anyhow)illustration are easy to understand. Some harder models are more complicated but after trying a couple times you get it.Written instructions i think are more complicated. I just look at the pictures anyways. I understand better visually. Well written if you follow by instructions.overall great book.

Das Buch ist in englischer Sprache - also sollte der Leser zumindest über einfache Englischkenntnisse verfügen. Aber auch ohne Englisch kann der Ablauf und die Technik des Knüpfens durch die sehr gute Bebilderung erfasst werden. Allerdings erschließt sich dann ein gewisser Informationsteil wie Beschreibungen .. etc. dann nicht mehr. Auch ich habe das ein oder andere Wort nachschlagen / nachsehen müssen.J. D. Lenzen ist wie in allen seinen Büchern und vor allem seinen YouToube - Videos dem einfachen Erklären und Beschreiben treu geblieben. Ich kann alle Seine Werke empfehlen, wenn man sich für Paracord interessiert. Und natürlich seine Neuen Ideen - super, welche Einfälle der Mann hat

Un must have, JD Lenzen est créatif, explique bien, c'est un vrai bonheur de se laisser guider par lui. Attention aux francophones, il faut avoir un niveau correct d'anglais pour comprendre, il y a un vrai vocabulaire technique, il ne suffit pas de suivre les photos pour s'en sortir.
