Q: Hello there. How close is the actual colour of the cap to the above photo?

I would say not quite as deep a pink as the picture. It's a bit lighter, still a nice colour.

Q: Exactly how long is the seam down the side of the cap, from top centre to edge, measured flat (no slack)? Mine is too long (deep) at 7" (178 cm).

I would imagine at 178cm it would be huge :) mine is 6 and a quarter inches which is 15.5 cm. It fits me perfectly and I have a large head (and tedious problems) when it comes to hats.
