Works great but no latex back like in desc..
I don't know about the latex backing because I got a paper back like I see everywhere else. Other than that potentially wrong claim (knocked 2 stars off for incorrect description) the grit side itself is excellent and the number of sheets you get it amazing for the price.I have multiple projects I'll be using this for but I tested some of each grit. They all worked great for what they were intended.Little tip if you didn't know but you can use the 5000 grit for scratches on DVD's and CD's but NOT blu-ray due to the special coating they have to prevent scratches. If you ever fix a disc just be sure that the disc itself and paper is properly wet and don't apply much pressure and be even. There was a device called the game Dr (was out around the year 2000) that used a tiny strip on a spinning wheel that would resurface discs but it's just easier to do it by hand lol.Little off track there sorry.

Craft paper backing on the 1000-1500 and 2000 grit. Not blue latex.
I own a detail shop on the plains. These real deal latex blue or brown paper backed are what I need. Water is my game when detailing headlights. P whatever grit on brown craft paper don't hold up to h2o very long. If your just cutting materials that don't need a constant water supply, this is a get at a get price no lie. But the craft backed wet dry don't meet my needs. So no go for wet applications on the 1000. 1500 and 2000. Seller responded about my concerns amazon fast. Offered a full refund and stated they would contact their vendor about this issue. But I said, "half were right, how bought we get the other half right," "I don't think you owe me a full refund, or no refund at all. Just shoot me the real deal on the latex paper?" Got the refund instead. So be aware only half the sandpaper is backed with latex blend paper. The rest is just good old fashion craft paper. Works for awhile in water sanding but deteriorates very quickly.

Outstanding for the money!
I've used wet dry sandpaper for about the last 30 years. Until now, I've always used 3M automotive sandpaper. I'm currently restoring trim on a 1992 Explorer and I needed a wide variety of grits. This is just a quick and dirty restoration so I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money for 3M sandpaper or use up my existing stock. I'm surprised how well this sandpaper holds up. It's absolutely unbeatable for the price and has nearly everything you could ever want. For plastic trim and lenses I prefer to start with 800 grit to get a uniform surface quickly and then work my way though the 1000+ grits. I used these alongside some of my 3M products and they seem to work as well at about 1/5th the price. I would have no doubts about buying these again. My only gripe is that they will curl when wet, but that happens with all of them, even the 3M products.

It's ok.
This sandpaper is cheap and good if you need a lot of sandpaper. I used it for wet sanding car paint and while it works, the sheets sort of fall apart when wet. Since it is so cheap, this isn't that big of a deal.My feelings toward it is, if you have the money, get something higher quality like 3M. If you don't, this will get the job done, you just might be annoyed while doing it.

Great for the money!
Just as the other reviews said, most of them are paperback, and once you get to 5000 grit, they're latex. But honestly, for the money and the quantity they give you, I've got no complaints. I'm going to be using them to fix a large key scratch on my car's rear quarter panel by following ChrisFix's YouTube video on repairing deep key scratches. :) Thank you to the seller for having this multipack from 1000 to 5000 grit! It's exactly what I needed! And it comes in a zip bag, which makes it convenient for storage in my toolbox!

Most of the grits were regular paper backing, not wet-dry
The rougher grits in my pack were not wet-dry. Regular old paper backing which quickly absorbed water and caused the grit to bubble and peel off the adhesive holding it in place. This was not submerged work, only occasional dipping, and the paper fell apart before the grit wore down, and I was working on high carbon steel, which is HARD on the grit.

Craft paper backing on 1000 1500 and 2000 grits
Not quite as advertised. There is craft paper backing on the coarser grits. (1000, 1500, 2000)remainder of grits are latex backed. It worked "ok" and was fairly inexpensive for quantity of sheets provided.

Generous amount for price point
Nice package of paper, used it for cleaning up auto headlamp lenses, worked perfectly.Started with 1000,then 2500-3000-and finger lite pressure with 5000, all while applying spritz of water,Then buffed with a rotary buffer and compound. About one hour of work and they look brand new
